Just read a story from rangers loyal page there, that rangers are in talks with adidas about taking over from castore as our new kit manufacturers, from season 25/ 26? Don't know how reliable this source/ story is ? I can't see adidas paying out large amounts of dough to both rangers and celtic, unless of course maybe adidas and celtic are parting ways from season 25/ 26 onwards ? Interesting.

Some nice kits from Adidas coops. Battle of Britain springs to mind.

If they do I hope its a decent strip, the mobs one is a bouffing top wi it's black stripes, but then again it's always bouffing.

I think we will stay with Castore and I like the kits and there other gear.

For me I would rather stay away from Adidas as I feel its the same design no matter what club it is they just change the colours.

I would like the best deal financially for the club- so not fussed who takes it on in real terms!

I think this will be used as leverage for a bigger deal from Castore.

Their gear is better than some say. I think the brands work well together and they have a more individual design approach.

Nike, Adidas its a blanket design.

However! Money talks! I also think Castore will want Rangers to stay. If I remember correct we were the first football club for them.

I did like the 92 strip. I remember taking the morning off school to go to intersport on the day of it's release and buying the long sleeve home top for £40 i think it cost. Not bunking school i was just late haha. It must have made addidas a fortune that design as teams all over the world had the same strip just in different colours. Great memories with that strip beating Leeds home and away who were the English champions.

Quite similar to the France top if I mind right.

Hopefully not another AC/ DC strip!

As long as the strips are good quality for the supporters and the club are making more money from the deal then I wouldn`t have any issue changing . that's what happens in football . I would be concerned about some of the second and third strip designs that come out of adidas (and Nike), some of them are so bad that the fans in the EPL refuse to buy them.

Fan media won’t have a clue at this stage. I’m Nike loyal in training and competing terms but football strips largely template and dull. Happy to stick with Castore as their kit is also great, but whatever pays the most and has best distribution is the winner for me. Another year a bit before this happens.

Rangers will be talking to a number of kit manufacturers.

I hope we move from castore not been a fan of many of their strips but unless adidas are moving from Celtic I doubt it will be them as they don’t seem to supply two big teams in the same area.

I like the castore kits to be honest. Designs have been good and I personally haven’t had any issues with the quality.

I do like adidas as a brand, but I think Nike are making better kits in both design and quality just now.

Play them off against each other rangers are a cash cow when it comes to strips and merch.

IMO Castore gets more criticism than it deserves and the amount of products on offer is good. I personally have never had issue with quality although I don’t wear the stuff that often.

Would love Under Armour but happy to stick with castore.

Adidas have some really smart kits and some barking ones. When we played Copenhagen thought was really smart.

I personally think rangers will extend their stay with castore John227? What's your take ?.

No idea, we will take the best deal with most money.

At least castore make bespoke kits and not template kits that the likes of the big 2 adidas and nike churn out season on season ? I only care about which kit manufacturer gives our club the most money whoever that will be ?We all have our preferences of which kit manufacturer, we want our club to go with, so ED could you please run a poll on this for me mate, if that's ok ?My poll being which kit manufacturer do you prefer rangers to go with from the end of our current castore deal in 2025 ie. adidas, Nike, puma, umbro, new balance, macron, stay with castore, under armour, other ?As usual much appreciated ED, cheers mate ?.

You'd imagine adidas would offer more money.

23.) 13 Feb 2024

At the end of the day it has to be the best deal financially for the Club that secures the deal.

Got umpteen pair of adidas trainers but my kids are telling me folk at their school are getting slagged for wearing Adidas ? seemingly Lacoste and Hackett as well. I tell my daughter people who wear vans and converse don’t slag the above and anyway coops you are murder at predicting sponsors.

SWS u do like a poll and an emoji??.

26.) 13 Feb 2024

Don’t need a poll unless it has the kit manufacturer that offers the most money ?.

I belive Macron will be in the mix.

Captain tav i like hackett myself. But no kid is wearing lacoste or hackett. More 35+ imo. Add young kids are into nike trainers also. Adidas only for myself.

One thing that Castore is terrible at is customer service! Non existent communication.

Adidas for sure in footwear, personally don't like Nike. i used to do their logistics and i seen what they paid Vietnam workers for making a pair and what they were selling them for. am sure all the other manufactures do the same but seeing it in black and white had a telling effect on me. plus i find the adidas ones seem to fit me better.
