The hatred and lack of respect to tav is embarrassing and shameful. What must this guy think. Tav will get 500+ games for us yet blamed for the failings of the management and the board to bring in others of his quality, yet he stays amd loves the club. He may not have grown up a gers fan like all of us but for those who hate him, want him gone get your head around this tav is more rangers than anyone on here. unless there us the odd Richard gough or ally McCoist on here. How nany on here have won the league, Scottish cup, league cup, championship and taken the team to a European final and have turned out over 400 times for us. Granted we would have liked more trophies but that is not his fault. Was davie copper or ally mccoist, at fault for the John greig era no! Tav gives his all every week, he is available all the time but no credit. Folk on here want to build teams around ridvan who is never available and colak before. We are always bigging up guys no one sees play and ignore those who always play. Ridvan, lowry and the like are crap and not needed they are not mentally suited to be at our club. When tav is gone he will be missed. appreciate! Appreciate! ????.

Why would you not go out there 150 a week tax free will make the same in one year as he has his entire career if not more because there will be no tax let’s say a 3 year deal in Saudi will walk away with 23 million in the bank honestly don’t want him to go but the man deserves it the amount of years of good service he has given us.

However if we got 20m for any player right now you would want all of it to go to PC. But Jan ain’t the time to spend that kind of money particularly when you wouldn’t have been budgeting that kind of spend in the first instance.

Spot on Livibear. I hope Tav has a few more seasons at least. Grateful to have him at our club, what a loss he would be. Same every year about how many goals he costs us defensively and it’s bs. Even this year and we’ve the best defensive record in the league. He’s been the least culpable considering some of the mistakes by Goldson, Barisic, Davies, Souttar and Ridvan.

With the money that league have £15m is realistic despite his age these clubs have paid it for older players. I’d hate to see him go he’s out talisman is always fit and scores in the big games and not always penalties. If silly money is offered we need to take it but I genuinely wouldn’t even sell for £10m as we could easily still have 3 and a half years out of him. I know financially £10m would be great business but I genuinely would rather he stayed unless it’s an offer we can’t refuse.

The notion that the board would take less than 20m for Tav is laughable. he's worth minimum 15m to us just having him til the end of the season.
He goes…. the so is any chance left at the league, and to be honest any hope of a European run. what's a europa league quarters or semis exit worth; bout 12-15mil? that's before you put a price on how him leaving would affect our coefficient.

The age factor makes it a no brainer although I doubt with limited places for foreign signings that they would sign tav most of these teams are going for flashy forwards or midfielders to increase profile.

As usual, picking and choosing what suits your arguments ~ I have always been a strong supporter of Tav and have recognised what he brings to the team over many years.
Plenty of other posters (who know more than I do, have more in the know mates than I do and have played at a very high level?) have repeatedly run him down.
Now, I don’t know what he is worth to a Saudi team but if we do sell him we will struggle to replace him this season and retain a chance to win the league.
My point of course is that those who have repeatedly run him down stating he is worth nothing are now suggesting that we should sell for less than £10m?♂️?♂️?♂️?♂️?♂️
Bit like, me saying I want rid of my 25 year old mini cause it’s sh*t and always breaks down but value it at £50000 as soon as someone might want to buy it?

We all know Tav, s defending can be suspect at times, but a lot of that is down to role he is asked to play, seems to be one constant that recent managers have trusted, if offer can in and was suitable to both club and Tav, I am sure Tav would take it if he thought it was best for club. instead of having go at him we should be looking at ways to cover better when he is attacking as asked.
