Definitely the sensible way to go John - hopefully it pans out that way and also due diligence carried out on our managerial targets - no quick buys please as we have suffered too much lately.
Ideally DOF would have some input to who he may end up working with as this needs to be a match made in heaven.

Why would Khan come to Scotland with little budget and work with a manager he's had no say in? Get a dof 1st then a manager but I believe Lampard will get the job and that's going to turn many fans away.

I would take either of these 3 as they know the club.
