For information purposes

Jim Mcallister was let go because he was taking some tops and handing them out to folk not for money or gain
I think from what I've heard this happens across a lot of clubs the kitman can take a few tops and hand them out it's only now in our club it was used as excuse to let him go

If he does go to Saudi he makes his money comes back better off financially as far as I heard he is still debating the offer for family reasons

Just to put it out there he's not a bad guy in sense.

1.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 11:17:25
Thanks for that Stig.
We all know things like this happen, players giving family members training kits to wear
Listen rangers get all that gear for nothing anyway as part of kit deal. It’s unlimited training gear.

2.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 11:31:26
The theft accusation are apparently true along with Bisgrove accusing Jim of pestering players for stuff, but the players have refuted this allegation and back Jim.
C'mon, does anyone really think Stevie G would be trying to take Jim to Saudi Arabia if he was a thief? It's not exactly the most receptive of places to thieves, is it?

3.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 11:34:30
It's a hard one because if it continues it becomes a culture. Club may be setting a president.

4.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 11:45:56
Someone said below he was taking tactics and data sheets. Two maybe it goes beyond just pieces of kit.

I remember someone was leaking Celtic’s info from the training ground online and it was compromising and embarrassing for that club on the whole. That was the piece of paper that famously said they wanted Joe Aribo. We can’t have that here.

5.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 11:48:52
Raise, do u really think rangers would sack someone for theft if it never happened.

6.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 11:55:54
Maybe they just want rid of him. Doesn’t fit anymore who knows. At least he lasted a while. Some players after 6 weeks clearly don’t fit and they never cost us a high salary.

7.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 12:08:29
Verdant I can say with absolute certainty that’s false mate
Everyone knows Jim in his home town he’s lovely guy and would have no Need to be doing that mate nor would he
someone making up lies mate 100%.

8.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 12:16:20
I could be wrong Verdant, but I think the poster was taking the p with his post? ?.

9.) 26 Sep 2023
26 sep 2023 12:18:00
lol 55, i can't trump that mate

i have many peices of kit from rangers, and both goram and jim leighton gloves, i had contacts in aberdeen and a few other clubs, it wasn't unusual at all, has to be another reason, nobody will tell me jimmy bell hasn't handed put gear either, because i have strips under glass in my man cave direct from jimmy.

10.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 12:27:07
We'll see John, because apparently it's going to court.
You've obviously heard a few things on this John, so surely you know that Jimmy Bell's family are backing Jim, so much so, that they have removed a number of Jimmy's collection stuff, memorabilia etc that belongs to the Bell family from the training centre?

11.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 12:36:18
If Rangers sacked McAlister for theft and he didn`t do it, he would have sued them for wrongful dismissal unless he was paid off to go quietly . I can`t see anybody taking a payoff if they were accused of being a thief and didn`t do it. I don`t know anything about it but either he did do it, maybe by going further than he was allowed to or he left for some other reason. Maybe when he was asked to step in for the late, great Jimmy Bell, he wasn`t up to it, who knows.

12.) 26 Sep 2023
26 sep 2023 12:37:31
and raisetheroofe, i've found your posts very good myself, john says this has gone downhill recently and he is wp0% correct but o enjoy your input.

13.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 12:37:49
There’s no chance of him stealing tactics from Michael Beale…. maybe he got caught trying to return some.

14.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 12:39:23
I have a friend who claims to play golf with Jim before and he says I can get tops signed by players if you want one signed.

15.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 12:50:35
Cheers stig. Seems strange to move him on without a warning.

16.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 13:06:11
Oops! …sorry tactics and team player position theft was meant as banter due to the way MB sets the team out. Never thought I’d have to explain that one but there you go?.

17.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 13:09:42
Thank you Tom, very much appreciated. It's also good to see you back and contributing my friend.

18.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 13:17:52
Ausbear got to admit I laughed at that.

19.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 13:26:09
Taking kits or not, how has James Bisgrove got 2 mins to get involved in this? Surely dealt with but someone lower down the chain.

With absolute no knowledge on what’s actually happened, taking kits could be seen as theft from someone (people involved in running of a company) and not by others ( people working in football) . That could lead to a claim of unfair dismissal. Not sure how serious it could have been for a kit man, can’t exactly sneak 10% of ticket money into his pocket.

20.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 13:27:51
Someone should steal tactics from somewhere and give them to m b he’s been looking for some for ages an can’t find any.

21.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 13:29:49
I can 100% guarantee the accusations against Jim are false it's currently in the hands of the lawyers,

22.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 13:41:41
I was told yesterday that the guys considering suing for wrongful dismissal.

23.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 13:42:47
Raise the roofe, jimmy bell’s family have no influence, and what court is this going to.

Burt many people get tops signed, most occasions you provide the top

Correct Wsl, u don’t accept a sacking for theft if innocent, let’s wait and see how it all pans out.

24.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 13:55:41
Their was an argument John about him taking some tops etc and fallen out occurred

But nothing to do with tactics and data sheets
Not seen or heard that rumour but whoever started it it’s 100% Baseless

as Tom said their is plenty of folk who do it
possibly he was told their was only so many per season he was allowed
All I know it was 100% started over taking tops but as I say not for self gain and no money was changing hands as far as I know more being generous to folk and he may have went over his limit on how many he was allowed to give out.
then the pulled into the office and argument Pursued.

25.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 14:00:36
He must feel unjustly sacked as he is taking Rangers to an industrial tribunal.

26.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 14:13:01
I have never said that Jimmy's family had any influence, only that they are not happy that someone (Jim) has been accused of this and are backing him to the hilt. What I did say was that Jimmy's family have removed a number if items from the training centre that were on show there from Jimmy's collection over the years in protest to what's happening.
As someone who knows what's going on inside the club, how do you not know this?

27.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 14:07:19
Well said Stig.

Jim is as diehard a fan as anyone on here. Living out a dream working for our club.

Won’t elaborate on this point, Bisgrove speaks well but is as arrogant as they come. Wouldn’t mind it if I had faith in him doing a great job in his currently role but….

28.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 14:38:17
Correct Iheard! There is quite a bit of chatter around Bisgrove and his arrogance, and how it doesn't sit well with some within Ibrox. I don't mind a bit of arrogance as long as it doesn't rub people up the wrong way.

29.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 15:16:52
Raise cheers, I do know plenty, we discussed McAllister on here few weeks ago.

But you clearly know it’s not appropriate to discuss individuals who may appear in court or who have trial dates set

Iheard his love of rangers is up there with Jimmys.

30.) 26 Sep 2023
26 sep 2023 16:12:15
that tells me there's more to this than meet the eye john, i find it all very strange that jimmy's family would be aware of anything that is going on at ibrox at hr level, i would find that strange myself, something else has obviously occurred, be it arguments or something else.

31.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 16:21:16
We are electing a president? spat my tea oot when I read that .

32.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 18:10:00
I have heard from a source that this information is correct he was let go by Rangers due to an investigation into him supposable selling club kit which he has denied and is looking at taking them to court under employee rights. I have also been informed that he flew out to Dubia yestarday to sign a 2 year deal with Gerrards team.

33.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 21:18:59
Tactics? what tactics, Banfield just said today we beat PSV are they all daft or on something ?

On another point when Big Dunc takes his side to Firhill let's fill the ground, or even better 25,000 at Hampden when they play Queens park, if you don't like Dunc feel free to fry your erse.

34.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 21:57:01
I just spat out my whisky their ? feel free to fry your erse
?? OMG quality.

35.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 22:08:53
Who would want Beales tactic sheets? ?.

36.) 26 Sep 2023
26 Sep 2023 22:10:10
That's fair enough John, but confirming what Jimmy's family done will have absolutely no bearing at all on any potential hearing/ tribunal.

37.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 08:50:35
I spoke to someone from rangers at game last night, said whole story absolute rubbish re taking jerseys etc.

38.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 09:14:46
Ok, firstly the post about taking team and tactics shears was a JOKE, based on how poor we are playing. (Some folk really need to read posts properly and gain a sense of humour) . Secondly, I have no info about what May or may not be happening with the kit man. What I can say is, at the end of last season I was given a rangers training top by someone in my work. He had been given a few from another guy in his amateur football team who in turn had been given a load of rangers stuff from McCallister. So if I, a person who has no connections within Rangers and have never met this guy can end up with official Rangers gear then maybe he was ‘giving away too much stuff’.

39.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 09:55:19
In what way do you mean John? Is the jersey story rubbish and it was something else he was sacked for? Or was he sacked for allegedly stealing jerseys, but he was stiched up?

40.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 09:55:39
Tictacs for fresh minty breath, but who would steal them? check their breath .

41.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 11:23:15
McAllister was let go, because players had complained he wasn’t doing his job properly, when he was questioned by an unnamed official in the club, he lost his temper and it got out of hand, he was sacked for gross misconduct. 100% fact .

42.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 11:40:30
Thanks for the update on this Brummie. If this is indeed true, then he would deserve the sack, and has no comeback on it.
You state 100% fact, but don't declare your source on this Brummie? Why is that? Thanks.

43.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 12:07:45
Brummie if indeed true, things said, doesn’t fit anymore. Happens all the time. If sacked for gross misconduct needs to prove sacking was over the top reaction. If relationship broken down had to stay. Anyway Semi up for grabs.

44.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 12:08:46
Raise . I cannot mention names, but the incident was told me by someone who works within Glasgow Rangers Fc, I wanted to post a couple of weeks ago when it was first raised by someone on this site . I felt I had to post this info now as the man was being accused of theft, which is not true. Hope this answers your question.

45.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 12:19:52
Raise. Theft of stuff allegedly not true.

46.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 12:28:44
That's fair enough Brummie, appreciate the update.

Thanks John.

Just to update from what was on FF. The poster, who is well known, and extremely well respected, posted that Jim has the backing of the players, so I'm confused if it was players (plural) who complained against him? Could it have been the coaching staff complaining? Or maybe one of the new players? With so many new players this season, maybe a couple of them don't appreciate Jim's style? Remember, Jim is Jimmy's protege, so maybe a lot of Jimmy has rubbed off on Jim and some of the new players have struggled with this. Wee Jimmy was well known for not suffering fools or taking any prisoners. Just a theory I'm putting out there.

47.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 14:07:18
Brummie I believe your story mate.
Always a fair genuine poster and with how u word that it’s what I’m going with.

48.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 16:01:33
All this chat reminds me of ehen i got sacked from my job on the dodgems.

I sued them for funfair dismisal!

I KNOW I KNOW i'm SORRY. ???.

49.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 18:01:11
Maybe some of the players should start to concentrate on doing their jobs properly.

50.) 27 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 18:20:07
Tom because other people do it isn't a great excuse.

51.) 28 Sep 2023
27 Sep 2023 23:07:33
Brummie absolute rubbish the players were at his house backing him up now why would they visit him at his private address if they thought he ruubbsh at his job, the players and management were told by bisgrove to not discuss it.

52.) 28 Sep 2023
28 Sep 2023 09:53:40
I've also heard, and read, that the players are backing Jim to the hilt Barber2 and are not happy about this. Does anyone really think that Jimmy would bring in someone not up to the job? Not a chance, wee Jimmy would have had his arse hitting the kerb in no time.
There's a lot more to this, than meets the eye, and from the info out there, Bisgrove is slam bang in the centre of this because of the way he was throwing his weight about.
To be fair to Jim, if he has been brought in and reprimanded, but been spoken to like a silly wee boy by Bisgrove, then he's every right to answer back. Who on here would let any wee jumped up plonker talk to you, or try to treat you like, a wee a hole?

53.) 28 Sep 2023
28 Sep 2023 12:03:59
Judging by the bit miffed manager last night he has some real problems, never seen him as downbeat as that and verging on anger, something in the wind just now .

Anyway it's time for more Rice, Lovelace, McAusland etc this needs freshened up . Call time on Lundstram as his first touch is like a clearance and he offers absolutely nothing .

Plus I would recall Lowry as he is wasted sitting on that bench at the torn faces for 95 mins .

54.) 28 Sep 2023
28 Sep 2023 23:45:52
Barber2, when we’re the players at his private address? And if Bisgrove Told em not to discuss it why was they supposedly at Mcallister’s private address supporting him . Mcallister must have a big house and space for a bus .

55.) 29 Sep 2023
29 Sep 2023 07:40:36
I don't see your point regarding the size if Jim's house Brummie? Also, Bisgrove has no legal right to tell the players not to discuss this, or visit Jim, unless Jim has raised a case of unfair dismissal, and the players are directly involved in this? Even then, if the players are backing Jim, Bisgrove is on to plums if he thinks he can dictate his orders to whoever is involved.
My understanding, and what I have also read is, that the players do not like Bisgrove, and that he has got theirs, and others within Ibrox's back up, and is considered arrogant and a bit of a kn@b. There's no denying he knows how to generate money, and bring in new business, but since his step up into a much bigger, and more responsible role, he has been throwing his weight about a bit too much for some.

56.) 29 Sep 2023
29 Sep 2023 12:16:43
Raise, I have spent many years involved in union affairs as a union official for various unions and understand a bit about employment law . I am not supporting Bisgrove what so ever . But you are wrong, Bisgrove has every right to instruct, players/ staff not to discuss club internal matters outside the confines of the club . This would also be in the players/ staff code of conduct agreement . This agreement also applies to most workers in every day life, who have a contract of employment. It’s there to protect the image of the company. As for players/ staff not liking Bisgrove I have no idea, but it’s not a disciplinary issue not liking a fellow worker. As for the point, of the size of Jim’s house, that was a tongue in cheek remark. “Power to the people because we are the people “ cheers .

57.) 29 Sep 2023
29 Sep 2023 13:48:11
Thank you for the reply Brummie.
I don't want to get into a peeing competition with you, but I too have experience in this field, and you are correct regarding code of conduct, compliance etc. However, you cannot tell an employee, especially outside of contracted hours, not to speak with an individual just because you have a grievance with them. Not a chance! If this was to happen, an employer would be opening themselves up for all sorts of trouble, and criticism, they would be mad to even think they had a right to instruct this.

58.) 29 Sep 2023
29 Sep 2023 14:18:43
Raise . I have enjoyed our discussion thankyou. As for players/ staff of a football club contracted hours, I’ve never thought of that before, I wonder what they are or how they are worded.

59.) 29 Sep 2023
29 Sep 2023 19:51:12
Some calling a thief and would take to court if he didn't do it

Maybe he did take kits but it was not something that was drowned on and maybe they did use it as an excuse but that would mean they could get him on theft if he didn't have verbal or written permission.

There is obviously something else at play here.

Let's face it wouldn't be first time a workplace cause that's what rangers are in this case has made up a scenario to get someone out the door

Not saying that's what's happened but I don't think we shod be judging either way if we don't have all facts.

60.) 29 Sep 2023
29 Sep 2023 21:25:18
God knows Brummie mate. The way a player nowadays can dictate what's in their contract, and what's not, I wouldn't even hazard a guess.

61.) 29 Sep 2023
29 Sep 2023 21:32:42
Shouldn't be judging lol

Failing to see the predictive text on on phone ??.

62.) 30 Sep 2023
30 Sep 2023 12:12:23
Presumably, everything will eventually come to light with the facts being reported on, especially if there is a court case or an Industrial Tribunal.
What I can't understand is why our CEO would be wasting his time getting involved with the goings on of a Kitman unless there had been a prior issue that had been escalated up the ladder to him but is all seems rather odd and perhaps just re-emphasises the need for a DoF.
Bisgrove is excellent on the marketing side of the Business and better than we have ad on that side of the Business for a long time but surely there should be someone, if it isn't Beale himself, that has responsibility for the mundane football matters.
