If we can get another striker in, for around £4m, that can do a job for the next 3-4 years then why not? I imagine there’s a lot of promising young strikers around Europe and we could get someone that is fit, motivated, and ready to contribute now.

To be honest Jim and I said it yesterday, I think anything in the region of 4-5mil and we will take it. The club will tell the agent what price they want so if the story is true and the agent has offered him for 4mil then that figure would have been set by the club.

Coully, Christian Fassnacht is a right winger, who can also play left and Am, he's also injured with a knee problem, good player though Swiss international 15 caps, certainly fits the mould of a gio type player, plays a few positions, international and injured. What south american club? If there is sell on % then it will be to Helsinki. We won't owe a % to two clubs? We paid 1mil, his attitude and lack of composure infront of goal ruined his chances of a decent move, hence the lack of serious offers. I think giving his baggage and last year of contract anything around 4-5mil is great money. Use his wage to get a player that deserves 30k.

By all accounts Gio has said that his attitude has improved in training. Is that down to the fact that he’s been dropped and wants to win his place back or is it the fact that we’ve qualified for the champions league and wants to get into the starting 11 to attract the attentions of champions league level clubs? Only Alfredo knows the answer to this. My opinion is that he will stay beyond the window and fight for his place in the first team. Whether he stays beyond the expiry of his current contract is anyones guess.

My head is bursting on here with so many so keen to punt Morelos. None of us know what’s going on with him and why he appears to be struggling a bit away from the pitch. Lack of composure someone said?! Has scored an awful lot of goals for someone who lacks composure. I was annoyed with him straight after Hibs match but at the end of the day a fully fit Morelos can be unplayable, big season for us and I’m sure he wants to be a part of it. Ideally with a new contract signed and then focus on the footy. Would be madness to give up on him now, he could be the difference to us having a trophy Laiden season or not and i'm pretty sure he’ll regain his no1 striker position soon.

True sir Walter but sometimes actions speak louder than words and fact he never signed says a lot same goes for Kent . I think they are both leaving and just don't want to admit it as they know the fans will turn on them.
