Team names for tomorrow;
Fod, Tav, Bates, Wilson, Beerman, Holt, Haliday, Hyndman, Mackay, Wag, Garner.

Excited to see bates play.

1.) 04 Apr 2017 13:12:55
How shite must senderos be though? We could have went with a 3 at the back and Pedro reckons 2 u20's are better equipped than Senderos, says a lot about some of Warburtons signings.

2.) 04 Apr 2017 13:18:17
Senderos was basically an emergency signing since we never got any of our primary targets for the role. He was there in case 2 CB were injured. If bates are better then he should play.

3.) 04 Apr 2017 13:18:20
I take that back it appears Senderos is injured too. he is still shite though.

4.) 04 Apr 2017 13:23:08
Onlyshow, lol. 😁

5.) 04 Apr 2017 14:04:08
Beerman was getting mentioned in glowing terms but this will be a baptism of fire. Bates is at last getting a game, I wish the both of them well and would like to think they are capable of making the grade.

6.) 04 Apr 2017 14:07:53
Why play Senderos when he's away at end of season and is Barry White! Give the youth a chance and hopefully a few will take the opportunity.

7.) 04 Apr 2017 15:13:16
Sendros is also Injured.

8.) 04 Apr 2017 15:56:19
I will be happy with a point and a good performance tomorrow. A defeat will have Pedro ducking for cover after 3 games

9.) 04 Apr 2017 16:34:59
It shows how bad we are if you're happy with a point against killie. As for ducking for cover after 3 games, that's ridiculous. He'll be given time to get his own players in before being judged. Too many of our fans expect instant success which was never going to happen.

10.) 04 Apr 2017 16:35:15
Why is Miller not playing? Gambling again but at least all the idiots who don't rate lee Wallace will be happy he is injured.

11.) 04 Apr 2017 16:48:44
This will be good for the two young boys flung in nothing too lose remember the likes of Danny Wilson Stacie smith being flung in they did well and if I remember correct both of them made there first appearances In Europe.

Before anyone says they aren't exactly world beaters now I recon wilsons is due too the Liverpool move and smith due too the bad injury he had.

12.) 04 Apr 2017 17:06:41
del1976 happy with a point against killie what kinda rastafarian fluff are you puffing 2nd place is out of reach now i reckon but we should be demanding a decent run of victorys in the run up to this semi final victorys breed confidence

13.) 04 Apr 2017 18:48:04
I won't be happy with a point, I expect three points from every game and I don't really care how we get them.

14.) 04 Apr 2017 18:41:20
senderos was on the bench at the weekend not injured and still didn't get a game

the injury u are talking about is called old age.

what we need is to see how these young boys can play and if they are redy untill next season that is and hopefully pedro is better at identifying that its cb's quality cb's we need.

thats the most important roles to fill but we also need a proper goal machine. i think rooney from the sheep would be better for us and he certainly knows the league and where the net is

15.) 04 Apr 2017 18:47:29
Really want wee Serg Atayaki to get in the squad even a spot on the bench the lads playing well for Youth team!

16.) 04 Apr 2017 18:54:48
Probably a decent game to throw these boys in as Killie have big injury problems as well

17.) 04 Apr 2017 19:12:29
When we were sent down it was the perfect opportunity to attract the cream of youth. Huge club, huge name, class facilities and could have guaranteed a start for talented young players. Would have given a few seasons to blood, build a cohesive team and have talented assets with a sell on value. For the size of club and quality of facilities we haven't really maximised youth prospects, too often looking for a quick fix. Anyone else feel we really missed a trick?

18.) 04 Apr 2017 22:33:14
what I am saying a point would be a decent result. Killie played well at the weekend. Saying that hopefully Jig does us a favour and rests some of his good players

19.) 05 Apr 2017 14:13:33
A lot of young guys did play tho, McKay, Crawford, Hutton, Perry, Little, Naismith, but none of them were good enough

20.) 05 Apr 2017 17:49:14
I get we tried a few Ascot, I was just wondering why we didn't sell the club and first team football as a major point to talented youngsters. Those named may not have cut it but I'm curious why a club our size and stature with the facilities we have can't churn out youngsters of the right standard? We could have won the lower leagues taking a punt on some young guys rather than fork out thousands a week on p1sh. Kevin Kyle made a fortune off us. Boy is a taxi driver now.

21.) 06 Apr 2017 20:53:50
Tomusa, that's the problem we have, you plus many others expect 3 points every game, plus you don't care how we get them, that in my opinion is nonsense, I want to play teams off the park, I want Glasgow rangers to become a great football team, with Murray park world renowned for producing great players.

Anyone have any idea of the Fixtures. What dates we play each side?

1.) 31 Aug 2018 14:23:58
They are released a few hours after the draw👍.

2.) 31 Aug 2018 16:14:52
The 20th is the first game.

3.) 31 Aug 2018 16:16:47
Cheers Coldo.

24 Aug 2018 09:21:42
In the end a decent result last night. Yes, we could have been more convincing with the scoreline however a clean sheet puts us in the driving seat. Thought the ref allowed them to slow the game down from the off, however I also think our lack of intensity last night was something that played into there hands. Thought for large spells of the game we never moved the ball quick enough and were just a bit slack on the ball all round.

Player ratings:

McGregor 7 - Didn't have a lot to do but when called upon made a great save before half time.
Tav 5 - Not one of his best games in a rangers shirt. Was quite going forward and was caught a bit high up the park a few times. Wasn't a disaster but just not his best game.
Goldson 8 - Rock solid at the back.
Katic 8 - Was also very solid.
Flanagan 4 - Thought he got beaten far to easily at times and was sloppy in possession. Also kills us not being able to get down that left hand side since he's so right footed (not really his fault)
Ejaria 8 - best game in a rangers shirt. Was strong and tidy on the ball. Almost created a few chances where I thought he should have been a bit more selfish around the pen box. We need to add midfield goals.
Arfeild 7 - Decent game from mr consistant. Made some good forward runs and love he plays of morelos, they two link up well. Thought he overplayed at times though and again could have taken a couple of shots on at times.
Jack 8 - Ryan Jack was superb once again at keeping the ball movin aswell as winning it back, in particular covering the full backs. Think jack is a player who can see the bigger picture in a game.
Candeias 3 - Thought he was poor tonight and was lucky to stay on the field for so long. His work rate can't be questioned as he does a lot of tracking back however he was very sloppy on the ball. Felt like after a poor opening 30 mins he just hid in the game until he was subbed.
Kent 8 - Thought he had a very good game. Work rate was top notch and he showed that bit of quality when gliding past players. Another who needs to add goals to his game and be a bit greedier. Only thing he lacked last night was a better final ball at times.
Morelos 7 - So strong and his link up play was great. However never really got into many chances last night or involved as much as other games. Still though he provided their defence a torrid time. Maybe could have done better with header in first half which was straight at keeper but was a hard one to take.

Lafferty 4 - Didn't really do much when he came on and I think we actually lost our balance a bit with him on the right hand side.

Middleton 6 - Was positive when he came on. Fullbacks would be dreading having to deal with 60-70 mins of kent and then have Middleton come on and get at them as he is soo direct. Exciting to watch and think gerrard is managing him well.

Overall I think its glaring that we need to bring in 2 players still in my opinion. Especially with Murphy out for the season. Think we need CB cover and an attacking midfielder/ winger as we are light in this area. God forbid anything happens to Arfield as we couldn't replace him right now.

Excited for motherwell on Sunday before a massive week!

1.) 24 Aug 2018 12:07:52
I agree with most but think you're being too harsh on Candeias, he didn't have the best of games but I'd have went closer to a 5 than just a 3.

2.) 24 Aug 2018 12:29:38
Fair enough. Like I said I can't question is work rate however I never thought he was good at all last night. But when your not having your best of nights working hard is vital so fair play to him.

3.) 24 Aug 2018 14:56:29
Agree with the 3 for Candeias he was shocking going forward last night and offered nothing.

10 Aug 2018 08:58:01
Where to start last night. I haven't been that impressed with a rangers side for some time. We controlled pretty much the whole game and our pressing was something else. Though its hard to pick out individuals last night I thought alfredo morelos was top notch and if he can make performances like that happen more frequently it would be easy to see why large transfer fees have been touted for him, I thought he was unplayable at times last night. Other individuals worth noting would be Coullibaly who was a machine aswell as the 2 centre halfs who looked calm, and comfortable all night. Also worth noting that Candieas was superb, he had a 10 min blip before half time but came back out and worked his arse off all night.
As for the manager we went in after conceding at a bad time against run of play and then looked shaky for 5 mins. Yet we came out looking energised and back to our best. Hat has to go off to him for whatever he has said to get the players back up as at other times over the past years we would have crumbled.
Best atmosphere I've experienced at ibrox for quite some time and I am super excited for the season ahead now. Hopefully get a clean sheet and win by at least 2 goals on Saturday vs st mirren to keep the confidence high.

1.) 10 Aug 2018 09:18:07
Spot on dunfermlineloyal, thoroughly enjoyed that performance and that is the best team we have had for a good few years, and the scary thing is this team has only been together for a few weeks. Can only get better. Onwards an upwards.

2.) 10 Aug 2018 09:22:04
DL, let’s get one thing straight here. They will be better than anyone we play in Scotland this season with the exception maybe of the tramps. Its the best I’ve seen a Rangers team perform in years. Not only that but to be buzzing about snapping into tackles in the 90th minute just shows how fit we are. I couldn’t pick a MOM last night as I thought everyone played a part but a special mention to Tav. Best game in a blue jersey last night for me. A bit more composure in front of goal and the tie would have been out of sight. Its hard not to get excited but I’m feeling something special might happen this season.
Chooo, chooo. all aboard the Steve Gerrard train to 55!🇬🇧.

3.) 10 Aug 2018 09:38:32
Chooo, chooo😂😂.

4.) 10 Aug 2018 10:29:35
I think everyone got a taste of the past last night which we've all been craving for the last 6-7 years. I was buzzing for hours after the game, couldn't sleep and feeling the effects at work today! Absolutely right what is being said, we will only get better and that lot from the other side bloody know it. We will have dips but for the first time in years i have serious confidence in my team. let's go.

5.) 10 Aug 2018 10:51:58
Dunfermlineloyal. Good post mate, only Rangers play St Mirren on Sunday.

23 Jul 2018 13:11:51
If We progress we will face Maribor in the 3rd Round.

1.) 23 Jul 2018 16:08:44
I wouldn’t say we were lucky in the draw as Maribor are a decent side and they are probably saying they’re lucky if they get us. We are also up against a side next that beat PSV home and away. I’d agree Aberdeen will get beat from Burnley.

25 Jun 2018 10:19:20
'Cardiff to test rangers resolve with £1.5m opening bid'

Honestly, I think this is laughable and wouldn't even acknowledge a bid like that. I know he's a player that divides opinion however for me he's key for us. Provided goals and assists pretty much all of which coming in the second half of last season.
Id be hoping for something over £4-5 million mark for windass.

What kind of offer would you take/ consider for windass?

1.) 25 Jun 2018 10:53:37
9 million - young talented Englishman. Scores goals and assists from midfield. If a premier league club are in for him the price inflates because they can afford it.

2.) 25 Jun 2018 11:51:50
Agree chris if windy was at hull etc they be bidding about £6mill or so rangers are bigger than most hull middlesboro forest etc they want him make them pay armstrong 1 yr left £7mill yes we hate them etc but personally they got a deal they it what rangers need to do instead of seeing first mill sign n shouting take him

3.) 25 Jun 2018 11:58:09
Totally agree, on his game he is one of the best players in our league. Trouble is, you're lucky to get 20 mins a game out of him. If Armstrong can go for 7 with add ons then we should be looking at least that but more like 10 with add ons.
Might sound fanciful but it's all just made up numbers in football now. If someone wants him and you say 10m and they pay it then great. If you say 27m and the pay it then even better.
The EPL teams have money to burn, so quote them some daft figure and if they pay it well and good, if not then it's no loss to us.

4.) 25 Jun 2018 12:37:54
9mil calm yourselfs, if he was at hull then he would be producing the goods on a bigger stage and yes he would be worth a lot more but this is the SPL. If get 3.5 to 4 mil he will be gone whether we like it or not, just reality👍.

5.) 25 Jun 2018 12:46:00
Guys, Cardiff are only doing to us, what we've done to other teams, go in with a low offer and see what happens.

6.) 25 Jun 2018 14:14:11

I think your assessment is spot on I would bite there hand off for £3m. As has been proven in the last 2 years, there is good and obvious reason why he was at Accrington Stanley.

The boy has some ability but neither the mentallity or the will to win to compete against Celtic

7.) 25 Jun 2018 14:22:29
Considering he only "played" for 20mins per game his goal ratio was outstanding. He's got impact sub written all over him and that's a valuable thing to have. If he can get better then he starts or we sell for bigger bucks. 1.5 mil is laughable

8.) 25 Jun 2018 14:23:30
We have never been great at selling players. We always seem to let players run down their contracts or move on for very little. Everton spent 50 million on a young English goalkeeper. A goalie. If Cardiff want Windass a young English talent that can score goals and create for peanuts we need to tell them where to go. With the tv money they get down south. Mark Allan better be shouting down his phone show me the money!

9.) 25 Jun 2018 14:48:15
£4m is the minimum that should be accepted for windass, we are a selling club and have been for 20 years. Everyone has a price.

10.) 25 Jun 2018 15:29:00
A young attacking midfielder with 18 goals or something and that's not him at his full potential yet. A few years left on his contract I'd be looking for 5+ million for him. for too long we've not capitalised on getting the full worth of a player, time that changed.

11.) 25 Jun 2018 16:03:56
If you think we would get anywhere near £9m for Windass then your indulging in fantasy football. £3m would be the best we could hope for

12.) 25 Jun 2018 19:33:40
think there’s a 3 million buyout clause in his contract. if it’s honoured and he wants it . think Stevie is putting him thru his paces. so if he responds then positive. if not 3mill thank you

13.) 26 Jun 2018 11:41:42
No less than 6m. Tims sold Armstrong for 6m with only 11months left on his contract. Imo he's never going to get any better than the average level he's at now. Whereas Windass has much more potential so I think that's the price.

All winnable at home imo.
Vienna and Spartak nothing to fear. We need to play with confidence and be hard to beat and you never know.
Couple of nice away trips also.

Fair enough I wasn't aware he had been out injured. Still as boabt78 says why would we replace our Columbian international with a player who gets nowhere near our side and is playing at livy?

Glad with where we have got in Europe. To have a serious title challenge I think we must prioritise the league to Europe. However we won't do that obviously. I obv want to see us do good in both however I think the amount of games could take its toll on us.
