Heard from a source that Bobby Zamora is coming to rangers and heard about Gavin Riley at Hearts us coming as well.

Zamora signing would be as bad as that lot signing Carlton Cole. No two ways about it.
Signing him would be an absolute joke, and not one Bear could deny that.
Hill was surprising enough, add Zamora into the mix. There'd be no getting round the fact, it'd be a horrible shocker to say the least.

No to both even if Reilly was available, as for Hill I think there is a huge difference on age and position and think Hill will be a great signing.

Tbh I've not been to happy with the signings this summer, as I would have liked players that where developing to come into the squad, the likes of Hardie, Murdoch and a few others but we have decided to go down south and look for players, just hopefully we can pull something out of the bag and win the league, We are the people!

Augustyien is quite slow, he plays the same football as hill but obviously a younger style.

Hill in the Team, Barton and Rossiter, Miller!, that would be a dream team for a Celtic supporter.
Hill should be nowhere near the team, Miller at best should be on the bench and Barton should be told in no uncertain terms that the Celtic game is make or break. Time for him to do his talking on the pitch or go train with the youth team.

Cee, my issue is that the guy should have kept his mouth shut and done his talking on the pitch. He has set himself up to be shot down in flames if he doesn't boss the midfield against Celtic.
As for the team being rotten, I don't accept that. We have seen improvement in Fotheringham and Tavernier, (defensively), and he is still showing the way with his free kicks. Rossiter is a quality young player and when we have two proper centre backs, (not Kiernan and Hill), we will see Wallace playing better. Forrester has been good, both Windass and hopefully Crooks will make a significant difference when fully match fit as will Kranjcer.
We will hopefully see Garner add some much needed muscle to the attack and young Dodoo has potential.
I reckon we have the makings of a good team but we are still two or three players short. let's see what Barton does at the Piggery and let's hope that we have brought in at least one quality centre back!

Just thinking, I would love to have Darren McGregor back from Hibs, I thought he was brilliant for Rangers and showed great leadership. Hoping he will be back soon.

Considering what was brought in to replace McGregor then I would have to agree. Kiernan and Hill are poorer defenders than him and he wouldn't have let Boyd run by him to score.

Mw doesn't want defenders he wants footballers and he can't pass the ball so he would probably make a million mistakes in our type of play especially in big games where our back four are pressured. Doesn't matter how good a defender he is if he can't pass MW isn't interested and neither should we. In Warbs we trust.

While I agree that MW wants football playing centre backs neither Kiernan or Hill is the answer.
There has to be plenty of players that fit the requirements that are playing in Europe or further afield and are under the age of 35!
Time for Warburton to press King for funds for a quality defender!
