I understand personal terms have been agreed with Rangers and Casper Widdel representatives.
I have also been told that Excelsior have accepted they will lose him and are willing to allow him to leave in January for around €500,000.

I've not got a clue who he is, but I remember about 20years ago buying a strip in the Rangers shop and the guy serving me (probably a Tim under Martin Bain)refused to put Casper on the back of the top because he said it was policy that they would not print nick names on the strips, my quick thinking told the guy that that he was Danish and Casper was his real name and he reluctantly put it on, I was telling lies as my mates nickname was Casper because of his white hair but utter madness that back then we had discrimination against the Caspers of the world.
Thankfully to this day he still has the top in New Zeland and still wears it.

Bounani absolutely is an excellent young talent.
Does need to make a decision quicker but undoubtedly best player on the pitch today.
Makhanya again brought composure to the back line.

Don't think it's a case of they've accepted they'll lose him, It's more they don't want him as they haven't offered him a new contract. His current contract runs out June 2027 and they haven't offered him a new one. A January sale gets them a small fee. It's a wee bit of a worry when no teams in the league he plays in are interested, especially when he's going for next to nothing, although reading up on him he's strong in the air, can play out from the back comfortably and is tough in the tackle.
As long as he's not a replacement for Makhanya!😅.

Stevie, Bouanani looks a proper player! Possibly too good for the SPL to be honest. Himself and Min-su look to be building up a nice understanding/partnership with each other also.

RWNm Rangers had an agreement with Excelsior Rotterdam in the summer of this year for a reduced fee.
This was because Rangers knew about the club holding an option to extend.
Excelsior activated that option but due to Souttar not leaving in the summer the deal was shelved.
No contract has been offered by Excelsior as they have been resigned to losing him since the summer of this year and know that any attempts at re-signing him would be futile.

RWN, buonanni looks as if he's performing about 70% of his ability.

Three cheers , I was in the shop around 20 years ago as well and tried to get my brothers nickname Waldo on the top and they wouldn't put that on for the same reason , no nicknames , you're the first I've heard with the same issue haha.

Only thing I can think of with shop refusing names is they may have names already made up and don't want hassle of making letters uo themselves.

Nato makhanya is an incredible talent best I've seen at Rangers in my memory mate. Last talent like him was gio Mols arteta , he's got it all . I don't mean to do my usual ott mate but he could be one of the best in the world in 3-4 years.

We got a top a good few years back it was the grey and black striped umbro top with carling I think it was when we had Darcheville and my wife got his number and Destroyer printed on it. That was in about 2008 so they might have changed the policy round about then.

I read Widdel deal was agreed in summer but was dependent on Souttar leaving. Has anything changed in that regard? Not heard anything about Souttar recently.
On the shirt names thing, my mate regularly plays 7s and wanted to all play in Gers tops.
His mum was to order them and before asked what numbers they wanted. He's a striker so said 9 but she came back with a 1. He was like No that for GKs and she said but you're my number 1. He took some ribbing for that one. 😂😂.

Stevie G you must be quite young if he is best player you can remember at Rangers.
Think he will go onto have good career, so let's enjoy him while he here, hopefully he helps us win league before he leaves. but at moment think that is doubtful the way are playing at this time.
will get caught out if we don't start scoring when on top., don't t see us beating anyone 7-1 we would sit back after getting 2 or 3 in front. McInnes far to cautious a manager, we should be high pressing teams right from the start, if we are as good as some think, lets start showing it.
