More than unfortunate if confirmed. Sadly, with the kind of transfer fees and wages involved, I would rather a player is crocked at that stage or does a Helander once we have him on the books.

Saw a clip of the 1994 1/4 final during World Cup with Prodan in his prime beside Hagi senior. Bjorklund and Thern were playing for Sweden. They were the days.

Hartson didn't end up good for us tbh, just your Donald Duck I guess. Prodan, Kuznetsov, Rozental, Micheal Ball, plenty more crocked right away. 🤷🏼 Maybe we are just more unlucky than some, I guess.

John, I must have missed that at the time. That's a real shame. I was very excited when he signed for us, then we all know how that went. He was perhaps a bad example to use on my part. Just read that it was 10 years this November.
