For some reason club tell players around this time of year if being kept or not too, as they did under Clement. Wonder if it's still that, or the Spain holiday should never be allowed to happen again. Every time we do it, players return and fail.

Also need to stop all the loan players who will be caring more about avoiding injury end of season than where we will be playing in Europe next season, when they won't be there.

He missed yesterday's game with an injury, the manager said, but if last season is anything to go by he will be making sure he is fit for Scotland. Giving him a new contract and then selling him makes sense, at least we get some fee that way.
Surprised that he signed a new deal to be honest, thought he would want to walk away for nought.
