Just read the fourladshadadream podcast from one of the topics stevie Clifford asked Andrew Cavanagh on Saturday. π€ Clifford states that he was told by Cavanagh, that Rangers will honour the last 3 years of our castore/Umbro kit manufacturing contract until 2030. π€
But from next season and for the last 3 years of the contract, castore will be back on our kits instead of umbro with very promising ventures coming our way. ππ¬π§After the castore/Umbro kit manufacturing deal finishes in 2030, it's almost certain Rangers will part ways with castore after our 10 year association with them. π€ Very interesting fellow bears π€π¬π§.

Madness that james bisgrove signed a deal with them till 2030 before he left.

To be honest Bigtrfc, we've been good for castore and they've been good for us π€I've not got a problem with castore tbh ππ¬π§.

Coops I think castore have been great too.
They were the only ones who offered the big money at the time.
We will always go with the highest bud and theirs was the highest bid.
The casual clobber they've made has been really nice.

Stevie G, i truly think we'll go with Nike as our kit manufacturers once the castore deal finishes in 2030 mate π€A few reasons tells me it will be Nike but of course it's all about which sportswear manufacturer gives us the most money/better deal for our club and we go with however that is π€I don't care who makes our kits, as long as it's the best deal financially for Rangers ππ¬π§.

We are also going back to using the Castore branded strips etc next season. Obviously their wee Umbro experiment hasn't worked and going by the state of last years training gear and other offerings being absolutely honking then I'm guessing the sales figures will be very low.
I usually buy some polo, tee shirts etc but never bought a thing last season and I'm sure I'll not be the only one.

Three Cheers some of the training gear from last season which was the first year with the Umbro branding wasn't as pleasing on the eye like the ones with the big Umbro logo emblazoned on the front etc but some of the training gear like the training coaches and players pro t-shirts and quarter zips i actually liked last season. π€
I also like last season's 3 kits which were our first under the Umbro logo brand again and i really think this season's home kit which is our second season with the Umbro logo brand was very nice along with this season's travel range, quarter zip training gear along with the pro coaches and players training gear which were also very nice ππ€.

I liked the strips Coop's but the rest of the gear was mince, they massive logo's and big letters on the back spelling RANGERS etc was as tacky as Eff you cee kay.
This seasons offerings are much better but i think the Umbro experiment would have cost them a right few quid in lost revenue last season.
I quite like the Castore gear and have never had any problems with it's quality or durability, i'm happy that we are switching back to their branded stuff.

I like castore but would absolutely love Nike the quality speaks for itself with their tops.

Castore material quality is actually better than Nike's material quality on football kits Wallace you can feel the difference mate π€π¬π§.

Oooft I don't know about that mate π maybe it's just me I really love the Nike gear.
13 Oct 2026 20:59:24
Wallace have you seen some of the adidas and nike kits mate π€ Some of them are terrible designs and template kits π².

Someone online joked and said kappa Would be their choice.
I wouldnβt be against something like that, something totally different.
But of course they need to be able to manage the supply demands and they need to have the highest offer
