What does everyone think of Man City being found guilty on 114 of the 115 charges for breaching FFP?
Personally I welcome the verdict and hope they are relegated, fined, stripped of titles and get a transfer ban. I think that money has ruined the game from a competitive perspective. Clubs from smaller leagues just can't compete and the Champions League is no longer the Champions League, its designed purely on a commercial basis. How does this effect teams that finished runners up because of cheating?
What do you the Eds think and will it just be swept under the carpet with a transfer ban and a fine? Reading early reports, it would appear that most fans of other English clubs want them gone from the Premier League.
{Ed001's Note - I expect them to get a points deduction at least, the backlash if they didn't would be too much. They gave both Everton and Forest points deductions for 1 offence, City have been found guilty of 7 of those offences, so that alone should mean serious points deductions.}

They'll just pay their way out of it just like Chelsea done. Should of been sorted before the season started but now it's too late to relegated them or to impose a transfer ban as they already done their business and they won't dock points whilst they sit at the top of the league undefeated.

My take on this is a bit strange because I struggle with the FFP rules in general and implementation.
I get the utter disdain that they have shown to the rules, authorities and process. I think they should be hammered with fine, points and transfer ban because of these actions.
But I just don't get why they had to do all that in order to invest in the club. Smaller clubs should be allowed to invest whenever they want and FFP should be debt: turnover to protect the club's long term future.
FFP seems to me to be a tool to keep the status quo in place, big clubs can spend crazy money, also carrying huge debt in process but smaller clubs cannot invest to grow. It genuinely makes no sense to me.

I would hope so ed001, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. I think the integrity of the FA would be called into serious question if City were not met with worse penalties than Everton and Forest. I read ealier that other clubs had sought legal advice with regards to lost revenue from European places and prize money from league standings lost due to City's cheating.
The fall out could be chaotic. Pep leaving a year early is quite telling and the exodus could follow suit as early as January according to articles that I have read.

Horrible club similar to the club across the city in buying their way out of responsibility in other court cases. Both should be disolved.

Sorry to be that Guy, but they haven't been found guilty of 114 out of 115 individual charges.
They've been found guilty of all but one charge, so there could be multiple individual charges associated to the the 'one'.
