@John2575 firstly, apologies if not yourself not mentioning this, I thought it maybe was you, but away back start of the summer there was talk about signing our Captain. Was that Shankland (now not a guaranteed start) or is this person still to be signed as I am not seeing a particularly strong spine or voices yet in the team?

Jamger, it's possible he heard something at the time that hasn't materialised, as I think we missed out on a lot of our no1 targets. I'll tell you one he got months in advance right, Cammy Devlin, if I remember rightly he got laughed at.

24 at the time. I said sign our captain; I referred to Doehiki. Roll really wanted this guy, but due to him never making a decision Rangers withdrew the offer.
