I'm sort of in the middle between Gazza's excitement and Ally's post. As has been stated by many, it will depend on how many outgoing players we manage to ship out. Penrice has been a success, as has Makhanya (spelling?). I have a really good feeling about our new Serbian RB and his fellow countryman Drago. Chukwuani is starting to show what he's about. Big Naderi might improve, but I'm not convinced so far that he'll get 18-20 goals in the league, same goes for Shanks.
I know he scored more at Hearts, but they never faced the low block most weeks. We need better up top than we currently have. Manny. Well, if a bid comes in, I'd sell. Think most of us know where we are bereft of quality, but like I said earlier, we need to move six or seven the other way. The danger is this may not happen until the 11th hour of the transfer window, which could see us struggle to get quality replacements. Just my view on things, guys.

PGB, you mention goal scoring and the low block, but the team across the city doesn't seem to have much trouble with it? Is it our method of play, or the players we have that hold us back? It would be great to see our team scaring opposition defences to death. We wait and see!

I like what Penrice has done so far but can you say he's been a success after 2 games? Pandur looks okay. To be honest I'm still to be convinced by Makhanya and even more so by Dragojevic, yeah he takes a shot on which is a plus but his passing has been all over the place. We haven't even seen Kosta yet and Yokota isn't match fit.
So far McCrorie, Devlin, Shankland, Neil, Godfrey just look like squad fillers, certainly no better than some of the guys they are displacing. Another very poor summer transfer window, lots of change but no improvement in quality at all.

ScottyDog, I get the point you are making re them breaking teams down, for me, the answer is they simply have better quality players. Tin hat already on, but can't see a legitimate argument against their forward players being better.
