Interesting

PSV Eindhoven boss Peter Bosz has aimed another dig at Rangers over Couhaib Driouech's failed transfer as he revealed the player is in his squad for Sunday's game.

The Dutch club were left furious when Gers pulled the plug on a £7million move despite Driouech attending their Europa League defeat to Jagiellonia Bialystok at Ibrox.

The Light Blues claimed they were concerned over the results of the player's medical.

That left PSV fuming over the reasons given over why the deal collapsed, and the player himself revealed his disappointment after Rangers had indicated to the Dutch club that they expected he would be out injured for up to six weeks.

Just another amateurish embarrassment to add to the dozens we've experienced over the years. We really are the gift that keeps on giving.

Who cares what PSV think, they are mad because the player is so good that they want rid of him and want another club to pay millions for a guy that can't get in their team. If he's carrying both a thigh tear and a knee injury, as the player himself has said, then we were quite right not sign him.

My understanding is we tried to renegotiate the deal as a loan to buy, and PSV said no. Why not, if they are so confident that he is fit.

And, if we signed him, and he had been out for anywhere between the 2 to 6 weeks both medical teams were saying, then it would have been another thing to boot the club and recruitment team about.

In the squad but will be interesting if he plays him as he only had 8 or 9 starts last season under him. 🤷

More embarrassing signing players that can't play for weeks because they're injured. I'd rather we pulled the plug than took a gamble this late in the window.

But he quite clearly wasn't injured to the extent we were making out. If anyone thinks there's not more to this, then they're either thick, or as I suspect, unwilling to call that inept bunch out.
