Well what's everyone's thoughts on game today i honestly thought Godfrey, devlin, had good game

West Ham didn't bring the press that St Etienne did, but we did fine.
Was good to see Oliver Antman get a run out second half, he's another one that could be much better than he's shown to date.

Aasgaard was showing up well, then he gets injured, hope he's ok.
Lots of positives, though, some really decent West Ham youth players brought on as well.

Didn't think West Ham offered that much. 1st half was more entertaining than 2nd, mainly down to Devlin jumping into tackles etc. Quite enjoyable to watch. I really cutting edge though, and 2nd half went down hill. We looked very disjointed to me with the change to 3 at back.
Not sure where the goals are coming from. No pace up top.

Shanking. Need chances (by the way his arse nearly the same size and McGins). Chermiti is a type of striker who'll score a cracker followed by 15 shoe ins. Think overall he'll not be good enough. Naderi not quite getting him.
Overall decent enough work out if we had 2-3 weeks before the season starts but we don't. Bit concerned by lack of threat.

I thought Pandur and Devlin brought something new to how we play.

Godfrey looked solid and reminded me of Goldson in how he played.

In the first half, I thought everyone with the exception of Curtis and Naderi contributed in a positive manner.

I liked seeing McInnes experiment with the formations in the second half, although it killed the game as a spectacle - my guess is we may see us set up like that in Europe at times to close out games.

Agree with many that Neil is giving Rothwell vibes (as the kids say). It's early days though, so hopefully he settles and we see more from him as the season progresses.

All very positive today. Dan Neil gave it big licks, this is the type of pressure he thrives on, but like most has probably been a bit spooked at the size of the club and intensity. He will come good, hopefully. We are in solid, trustworthy hands now in Derek McInnes.

Devlin is essential on Friday, not because of the nasty stuff, because he's on form, he's a damn good player.
