72 loyal can't be arsed with going to find the thread. The Americans have backed us as I've said on other post we need to realise this is a business for them the money has to be paid back.
How many windows in the past have we had this many players potentially 5 mil+ potential sales with possible three high teens to twenty million.
If anything it's our impatience as fans demanding every manager is sacked when a result is not to our liking.

The window isn't closed business will still be done and McInnes will be backed. My worry is that this will be a 2 to 3 year project though.

Well, let's face it, has he really put his hand in his pocket and bankrolled us.. no.
Has he spent a fortune this window. no.
If rumoured bids are expected and players leave for those fees, will be in a decent amount of profit.. yes.
With how close we are to our actual season starting, and more importantly our Euro qualifiers, we need money spending on some quality additions.
Fans are allowed to expect abit more given the amount they spend year in year out and season tickets selling out even though they raised prices.

Agree, Jim. Honestly just expected a bit more from our board. After finishing 3rd, we really needed to add some real quality, but looks like quantity again as Storms already said. Hoping the quality might come, but I'm not too hopeful. How much have we spent? Not really that much, to be honest. Was just expecting a bit more.

They backed us to make us financially secure, but have had a mare pretty much ever since then.

The Americans have backed us as much as they actually can. Last year our Squad Cost ratio was 68%, so there's not really much more they can do.

Are there financial restrictions in Scotland? If not, and it's just UEFA, we ain't winning that anyway, or maybe even qualifying the way it's set up. So, why are we bothering? If we go over it, there is likely to be a fine, so if it means winning the league it's worth paying it.
The English teams fiddle it all the time and never get banned from anything. Look at Chelsea, who have no Champions League money and are spending hundreds of millions just to get back into it in 2027/28. They get fined, they just pay it and move on.

Aside from the UEFA regs, squad cost ratio is an industry benchmark used to gauge the financial sustainability of a club - given our financial struggles for well over a decade, I'm personally happy to have owners that aren't risking the long term health of our club for short term glory.
That aside, the proposal to deliberately breach the UEFA regs has to be one of the most bonkers I've read on here.
We are currently operating at around £40-50m behind Celtic in turnover, so the plan is to risk expulsion from the European tournaments that directly make up 25% of our turnover and indirectly around 40-50% of our turnover & also act as the main carrot to attract higher calibre players to the club?
