No, cause it wouldn't mean funds would be available, as he'd still get wages, signing on fees, agent fees & so on. Would rather we use his wages to offer more to Dahl. Pretty sure he was getting offers of 30k plus in America too, so he's not exactly on squad player wages if we take him.

No brainer. Take him for free on a relatively small wage, if he doesn't impress, we move him on for profit. Excellent stats for last year. Win win for us, I think.

Peter, but that is £15k for a squad player and then the signing on fee. Let's call that £500k over 3 years. That adds another £3.5k per week onto that. Just don't see the value in paying those wages for a squad player. Might just be me.
