The new Scotland manager conundrum, do you go for experience in big ange or the danish boy?
Do you stay down the route of Scottish? If so mcglynn, McCann n Neil must be the only choices.
Neil on 45 but has bags of experience, mcglynn plays a nice brand of football and isn't scared to put the youth in. Same with McCann. McCann to me would be like Bellamy at wales.

McGlynn all day. We need an influx of young players into the wider squad.

It will likely be somebody out of work, but my money would be on Clark's assistant Naismith being promoted. He's an ex SPL manager at a biggish club, and the SFA will see it as the cheap option, and be able to say it maintains continuity.
You've got to remember that they thought they were covered for the next 4 years, so they won't have done any real succession planning.

Alex Neil would do a good job and, for me, is the only real Scottish contender, so it may well be that the SFA have to look at foreign managers.

Surely, if it needs a Rangers man and Scot at us the same logic applies at International level for the team to be successful. ? Needs to be mean at the defensive end but able to play like France/Brazil in forward areas; or is that just me.
Not an easy gig whoever gets it. Alex Neil seems to be a good shout but waiting for Billy Davies to throw his hat in the ring.

Angus, Billy Davies n Malky McKay double act pending. ???

I would back McGlynn. He would give youth their chance and try and get them playing to strengths.

Love McGlynn to get it, Moyes would be my choice if possible.

No chance it's McCann, he loves his job at Killie.

I'm more worried about Scotland's CB and GK conundrum. Anybody in the dugout is a sitting duck till that gets resolved. SFA may have made Stevie Clarke the highest paid Scotland manager ever, but I doubt his salary even touches that of any managers currently working in English Championship.
They will probably recruit within Scotland or look at an out of work foreign coach with an international pedigree.

R1, go look at Moyesvsalary at Everton mate.

Robert Clarke new deal 500k a year.
Moyes 12 million a year.
Ang at Spurs 5 million.

Bigdel, I forgot about McKay so yes that would be perfect. ?
