A silly question for EHL.
Will we have representatives at the WC.
Is that a thing? Do we send over to spot any hidden prospects?

In a way, yeah.
We have 3rd party scouting networks who monitor players for us - and other clubs. They effectively scout players against the specific brief we've provided them.
We also use AI scouting on game footage, so every game from the WC will be uploaded and analysed.
It's not so much about unearthing hidden gems - it will be more focussed on looking at players we've already identified.
We will have a small number of representatives at games, however these are usually only sent to watch players who are at more advanced stages of scouting and usually the players and the clubs they represent will know we're watching.

I would imagine scouting has changed dramatically over the years with AI scouting. Any player in top leagues must have, like, Football Manager stats at every club's fingertips these days. Stats are far from everything, but it will be a starting point for pinpointing players.
