Before we hit 5 in a row! Have a think on this! Our esteemed open door of numerous individuals over the last 5 years as our Sports professionals and obviously world experts on player recruitment in the domestic and European/world scene missed this below!
1. Calum Ward (Motherwell)
2. Craig Halkett (Hearts)
3. Filip Lissah (Falkirk)
4. Elliott Watt (Motherwell)
5. Elijah Just (Motherwell)
6. Luke Graham (Dundee)
7. Barney Stewart (Falkirk)
8. Tawanda Maswanhise (Motherwell)
9. Lawrence Shankland (Hearts)
This is just a sample! and all for the price a Raskin or Chermiti and then signed off many a EPL league player who thought the clubs are great, the city is sweet bro and the league is two horsed! Only to be "horsed" by most of the lower league teams with hungry young professionals!
We need to sign hungry, desperate to prove folks wrong types again! Not agent promoted "speed dial #1 for my agent" the moment is gets tough types!

What chance have we got, really? There's still folk that have preached against the masses that Hearts players don't get in our team.
We are shockingly bad. I don't care how technically good players are on a training pitch; if they have the heart of a mouse and can't transfer it into real game ability, they are no use to us when looking to win trophies.

I'd take a group of honest pros than those with perhaps more ability but no desire and a captain that downs tools any day.

Kaiser, you summed it up 100% in one small statement, "group of honest pros", that is what is lacking in our team.

The culture has slowly died in our club. Little things like not replacing Jimmy Bell with someone like-minded makes a big difference.
We need players and staff to drive the standards of newcomers, so they understand.
I don't see anyone in that squad bar, maybe Liam Kelly, that will stress the importance and what it means to be a Rangers player. Too many players who think they are better than they are.

Those 9 would be lucky to finish 4th in the SPFL.

If Rangers had signed Watt after he had been at St Johnstone and done nothing, the fan base would have been in an uproar. Halkett is always injured. Hindsight is marvellous.

Wslgers, Watt actually did well on loan at St Johnstone last season.
14 May 2026 14:48:58
4th? With only 9, they would struggle not to get relegated.

5th with 11, Orange T. ?
Especially if the other 2 are any current Rangers players.

That is a good post ISB95. 6 of those players you mentioned and 4 of Rommens quality to replace who leaves would make us better. No doubt for me.
