As said by some on here we've been down to watch blackburn rovers right back ryan alebiosu on occasions, as a possible replacement for our captain james Tavernier ?He looks quite fast and athletic this right back and at the correct age for us, with experience behind him ? What's our thoughts, do we think there's definitely interest in this player from us and would he be a good signing and replacement for Tav ???

I don't know the player in question so will rely on others for him.
My information is Diogo Travossos is leading target.
Hampus Skoglund is another if Travossos is not signed.

Only watched the match vs Coventry and he was very impressive. Not sure if he always plays at that level.

Had a look at him the other day, he must be doing something right, Zikos, he's played around 40 games in the Championship, mate, I can't remember of him on loan at St Mirren or Kilmarnock, could have improved since.
I'd be trying to get Lissah signed.

Yes, I remember him being fit and athletic, but prone to rash challenges. I would prefer the Liverpool loanee Stephenson at Dundee Utd. Lissah is good technically, but would worry about him defensively, and he is not the quickest. None would bring all that Tav has provided. I don't get this insistence about Tav being a serial loser. The same could be said about Harry Kane at Tottenham - who actually won nothing there.
11 players of Tav's quality in the respective positions, and we would have won a lot more. As for captain, that several managers kept him as captain speaks volumes. He is a leader by example in terms of training, professionalism, and, from what I hear, he is well respected by younger players at the club. I would keep him as club captain with someone else as team captain. Replacing him won't be easy - as we have seen.

Lissah has actually got good pace about him, BearAbroad, you're maybe getting confused with different Falkirk players, mate, and he can play anywhere in the back four.
