I'm dining out on the below post. Sadly I don't think that we will keep him as strikers like him are snapped up these days. Hopefully we get CL and he stays for that!

This likely won't be popular due to the Thelwell connection but I genuinely think Chermiti has something there. Big, strong, good touch and can rattle a ball. Imo once he settles and the team as a whole gains confidence you might very well see a hugely talented striker. Remember Hateley and McCoist? Both initially weren't exactly outstanding ?.

Remember your post well, he is a very good prospect imo.

I wouldn't be in a rush to sell him.

Seen Chermiti potential after a couple of games, great ability. ?

Young lad has everything in his locker, if he can improve consistency, the world is his oyster, as Del Boy would say!

Must admit I had reservations at first, just because of the price tag, I've seen enough to agree that he definitely has a lot of potential.
All he needs is a bit more of a killer instinct to get into and take advantage of scoring opportunities.
Everything else about his game I absolutely like.
Looks like we're doing OK with Chermiti, Meovski and my mind's gone blank, the big German guy.

CO2, that will come with more experience, mate, his first proper season, he'll learn about getting in the correct positions more, but him hitting them at the keeper should be learned now, either side he's beat.

Still only prospect as John says, let's see how he fares in last five games & if offers pour in this summer.
