These Celtic fans are really trying to play down the new takeover. the fact is Rangers are now being run properly and have money;that reality is too much for them. these new guys have a track record of running other businesses and are very professional. we have lacked that for several years. I've looked into these guys running the club now;they have everything pre-planned. thier decisions are not a panic;they know how to run a business. we are actually fortunate to have them. i realised they could chuck millions at it by looking at the other business ventures. But there here for the long haul. they will have cleared the books and have them balanced;in 5 years or less they will be looking for a return. They realize they need a team capable on the park to get that mega Europe money;so they will spend now to get a reward later. there's no exit plan right now its all about a sustainable properly run business for decades to come.

I'm much more positive. But at the ssme time not getting too carried away. All the previous board/ chairman etc have said the same things for years. Self sustainability, player trading model, etc, can easily be taken as don't get your hopes up we're not spending anything like what u thought takeover would bring. Heard all this so just wait n see, but I am more confident this time round.

Gers, the ones that are playing it down the most are the ones that know Rangers are back, you only have to look at the Leeds fans reaction to the owners.

Lets wait and see if they step up, its all well and good saying the right thing in interviews and using all the buzz words but the proof is in the pudding, this squad needs an injection of quality if we are going to win anything and at moment we haven't spent a penny on a decent transfer fee, i, ll hold judgement on the americans until they start backing the manager.

Mystar, I'd hold back on saying we're back just yet. Feels more like this is just a beginning but a long way to go. They still miles ahead financially and we've a hard run to get that champions league money. I'll Wait until we actually look like challenging them for trophies before thinking we're back.

Geeso guys, why don't you wait to see what happens on the pitch. not being pessimistic but how many times have you been told on here that a) they won't throw money at the team (well not multi multi millions and b) they can't throw money at it.
the need to increase revenue streams before they can increase the outgoings simple as that. it will happen but not overnight.

I am not sure Celtic fans are playing it down more keeping an eye on developments but focussing more on what's going on at Celtic.
My star I do think your positivity is a good thing and a lot of supporters should focus on the good that has happened so far but you just need to remember that whilst you guys are working on improving the team Celtic won't be sitting on their hands doing nothing. Interesting Summer and season ahead!

Mr Mojo as you know our problem was beating the others teams, think we could have the man in position for doing it, as we all seen their it not very much of a difference on the park between Rangers and Celtic, yes you will spend only hope Rodgers does what he's very good at and wastes cash, so if Rangers do get the correct recruitment Mr Mojo are you seriously thinking Rangers can't win a two team league next season?

We have to accept this isn't a quick fix, this is the start of our journey back to the top. They're probably going to spend big and perhaps have a rebuild of sorts themselves with players wanting away. This could benefit us.

Not at all my star of course if Celtic get recruitment wrong and Rangers get everything right then of course they can win the league but right now there are a lot of if, buts and maybes in that scenario.
