Ok guys go easy first time poster and I know we are all hurting. I am old enough to remember when they got to the end of their 9IR and the really dark days of the early 80s when we were finishing 4th and not even qualifying for Europe, played Bristol city and others in the inter city cup or whatever it was called. Clearly also remember the recent demise and coming back to the league's. So whatever happens we follow through thick and thin but we have the right to be critical of the team and today we were awful. What is the way forward? I wish I knew, is it Gerrard, again I wish I knew! He has clearly made mistakes but also taken us forward, progress has been made but we still have no trophies, which is what we will be judged on. Are we too focused on 10IR to allow him to build for the future or is he not learning? Either way we must follow follow on because that's what we do. Hope he gets it right and build s dynasty but if he continues to get it wrong how long do we stick?

I think we will stick with him next season but he needs to be more flexible with selections and formations, he’s looking a little like mark Warburton at the moment but he’s been able to get in better players than Warburton. there’s also the issues with guys like docherty / Jones and Murphy not getting anywhere near our squads, mccrorie could be doing a turn aswell. Watching us play ojo again is going to grate with the support aswell, when we need fighters he plays ojo.
