According to some reports a bid of €5 million has been accepted for Olaru, albeit the bidding club hasn't been named. I note John25 stated we'd put in a couple of bids for the player - any chance it might be us? Or did we walk away?

Well lads, a few players caught like rabbits in headlights tonight. Showed way too much respect for Liverpool and didn't close them down. Think Kent might have done enough to maybe earn a move to either Aldershot or Colchester.

Well lads, we've had overnight to reflect on yesterday's debacle and there's no positives to be taken from it. We gave Goldson a further contract so he'll probably stay as our no 1 choice CB (which is a concern regardless of injuries to others) . Let's hope we don't make the same mistake with Kent. Yet again, he proved he flatters to deceive, switches off and offers very little to the team. We hoped we would recoup many millions for him but, quite frankly, the lack of interest or offers from other clubs tells its own story. If he signs a new contract then we're likely to be stuck with him playing regardless of form, just like Goldson.

RenfrewBlue, I would take the offer to Kent off the table, he's not worth it, there are much better players out there that would do the job for half the money. When our injured players are fit, I would play Souter and Davies at Centre Back and drop Goldson, I would also make Sands our Defensive Midfielder, and move JL forward to an attacking role. Colak I felt did okay yesterday, as did Alfie when he came on.

Younger players need to be introduced in a sparing manner. How many points did we drop this season with the lad King being shoehorned into the team? Same in CL. Now the lad doesn't even get a sniff because he's probably gone backwards as a result.

Maybe we should wait and see who, if anyone, comes in. Although a rumour site it can be a source of frustration reading 'insider information' that a player has agreed terms or has signed only for it to be wishful thinking.

Can't imagine anyone will come in for Morelos until he's a lot leaner and sharper that what he is just now. Even a club signing him on a pre-contract will likely place the onus on him to prove his worth beforehand.

Stormtrooper, much as Morelos is and will probably remain our record scorer in European competitions, that doesn't guarantee he'll reach the levels of performance of the past. It may be more likely that any hunger he may have to perform in another country may give him back his edge and improve his levels, but I fear he's not enthralled enough with the prospect of playing any longer in Scotland, even if he was to secure an improved contract.

SuperAlly, Tav didn't need to wipe out Maeda, all he had to do was play a very simple pass to Goldson but he under hit it and left Goldson with no option but to let him run past him to score. If Goldson challenged he would've been sent off. Morelos is a waste of a jersey and should've scored at least once with the free headers he had. Jack should've put the ball out for a corner at their second. Disappointed to say the least.

Morelos pass was horrendous but Tavernier should have dealt with it regardless. Terrible example from a captain. Imagine allowing himself to be bossed like that!

Deano, I'm proud to be British but sporting rivalries don't go away. For what's it's worth I didn't shed any tears when Wales got put out either. England are good, improving team and becoming a bit more of a feared opponent like Belgium. Guys like Bellingham, Saka and Foden will take England to semis and finals in the next few years.
