Ed Paul 86 thinks some pn here want Sands to stay at 4.5 million.
Can we have a poll to see if he should stay or go at the end of his loan. Ta.

Sands has never kicked on at our club but Sands will still have very good career, I thought he would be a great signing but he's never played in his main position hardly ever, watched him many times in the USA league and was impressed everytime I seen him, we were very lucky to even get him many good clubs in Germany were after him.

Right, so far the Go's are trouncing the stays. Common sense looks like it will prevail. However, I'd like to know which posters want him to stay?! Will any poster be honest enough to say they want us to sign Sands?

Decent enough player but doesn’t have the company composure to be a good a rangers player. If it was a Bosman then maybe but at £4.5M it’s a definitely NO.

Beale might play him in his best position to give the boy a chance to impress before making a decision.

IMO he is far from the dross that many think he is ~ is he good enough for a permanent switch? Too early for me to decide.

It's a no from me, I've stuck up for him before but it's not worked out, simply just not Rangers class. The money they want for him is a piss take. Wish him well though.

I think if he had a decent run in his natural position then we'd see a very decent player. Feel sorry for the guy. Always stepped in when needed just like King. Slaughtered for it.

Why is it too early to ask opinions.
Lots of comments about Sands.
My own view is that he is not worth the 4.5 million fee in the summer but should not be getting torn apart like he is on some comments.
I think we can get better for the fee specified.

Its funny now seeing all the comments wanting rid of sands, saying he’s rubbish etc. Right from the outset I said he was not good enough and took some flack for saying so. It was mentioned Rangers was a stepping stone to Man City which I could not believe. When i have played the game for 40 years you can spot a player right away. I am still not convinced by Tillman, there is something there but would u pay £5m for him? Answer is No! Could understand us signing him with a view to making a small profit in a year or two, but we need strong energetic players with fire in their bellies Tillman is not one of them. Sakala I have condemned from the outset and he is improving,

Tillman is quality is you played for 40 years you would see that 2blue, Sands will still have a very good career, many players don't cut it in our very poor league.

Posts stating Sands is rubbish are. rubbish. He's actually a very good player however it hasn't really worked out for him here. At 2m I'd keep him but not 4.5. money could be spent better. We will not buy him but he will move on and do well. And good luck to the guy.
