I would like us to sign a right sided forward, preferably left footed. Feel like we have needed this type of player for a number of years. Not sure of any names to be honest but would be delighted if we strengthen that area if the team.

imo - we need starters not squad players - - hard midfielder, a striker who can hold the ball up AND score goals given the opportunity and a wee bit of class in the No 10 role.
Failing that - a McCoist ; a Gascgoine and a Terry Butcher.

Not sure if your asking me John but will answer anyway, lol.

I do have concerns with Davies coming in, think it's easy to ignore the wages side of transfers, as fans, but normally this adds up to more than any fee paid.

Although Davies is a free transfer would still cost the club a lot of money. He would have to be a success otherwise we may be stuck with him which is a big risk.

It is similar with Cantwell but feel he would be easier to punt if it does not work.

This was what I was trying to say the other day with buying players from England which is inflated market in terms of wages. I think the 2 of them could be really good for us but you need to factor in the cost if they are not.

In response to Davies' wage etc, remember there may not be a transfer fee involved, so if we had budgeted say £3m for a midfielder that money would be added to the pot for his wages.

I totally agree with MPH ?I want us to sign todd cantwell and both kent and morelos on new 3 year contracts ?I would be delighted with that, were that to happen ??.
