I truly think the longer this silence goes on as regards to gio's future as our manager, the more i now think that he's definitely going to be given more time, to turn things around ?I was always towards that thinking anyway ?.

Completely agree Walter, I don’t think it’s the wright call as I think we are just kicking the can down the line.

This is only ending one way as he is one bad result away from the fans forcing the board to action, if they aren’t trying to already.

I think we need to remember the board aren’t in any real rush to make any announcements. The team don’t return for training for a couple of weeks so they have until then to bring in a new manager or it’ll be Gio for the foreseeable. I’m more swaying to the silence means something is going on in the background if they were going to back him after the World Cup they’d maybe have said by now.

That it may be there just happy to maintain that 2nd place until that 2nd place comes into jeopardy then they will allow him to continue

That’s just one possibility

Second possibility is they may be waiting behind the scenes on getting the man they now want and until they can place the new man they may want into position then Gio stays?

Good point Stig, the board may accept 2nd spot as a long term rebuilding is in place. We are going to trade league titles with our closest rivals, and sometimes will have to accept second best as hard as that is to take.

True blue, yeah I don’t mean one more and that’s it, I just mean, if he is still in charge and he does have a bad result, it’s going to get even worse.

I do hate when it becomes this toxic because it almost becomes a deconstruction of character. I think the board have a duty of care to everyone, which should mean to stop this before it gets worse.

Problem is even if the league is over we're still in 2 cups, the way its looking I can't see us winning anything this season with GIO In charge, players are walking around sighing and moaning evey game, whatever the problem is its not going to change with GIO in charge.
