If butland gets sold in the summer it has to be 20M or above I honestly rate him that good he has atleast 4 years left in him before a decline would start for the average GK look at onana 45M for a keeper who is horrible if butland keeps up his fantastic saves between the sticks until the summer I could see epl teams come for him especially if he pulls off wonders in an England top then he must be 20M or more nothing less.

Fred, agree wholeheartedly, £20M at Least. The EPL can afford it easily, considering no 1 wanted him before we signed him.
Our green neighbours put rediculous prices on their players and receive it.

I’m not sure where all this ‘Butland wants to leave’ chat has come from? He had the chance to leave for Forrest and he wasn’t interested.
Let’s say somebody does come in over the summer, Chelsea for talking sake and Butland wants to leave are you going to try and keep an unhappy player an unhappy player in the squad because you want a record transfer for a SPL keeper?
We’d risk no players committing to a long term contract with us again for fear of us not letting them talk to other clubs.
The guy is an outstanding keeper who I think will be at Ibrox for years but we can honestly expect to keep a player because we want £20m, he’ll be worth what another club are willing to pay for him and I don’t remember him having too many options in the summer there? Third choice at Man U?

I’m not sure my star, if he is the best British keeper why isn’t he in the England squad? Why didn’t anybody else try and sign him on a free? Why were Forrest the only EPL trying to sign him in January?
Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great keeper and I’m glad he’s playing for us but the best brittish keeper is a leap when he’s playing against SPL teams.

If Butland continues to show his current form then, assuming he wants to move back to the EPL then I suspect he will fetch more than £10m. Just look at what has been paid out for keepers last summer and for me, Butland is as good if not better than a number of them.

I think he's one of the best shot stoppers in Britain, tbh I think his distribution isn't that great, that's why we wouldn't get £20 million and that's a big reason he isn't with a top 5 club. Think about it he obviously has some sort of flaw or he wouldn't e with us.

It’s tough to compare keepers in the EPL to Butland my star, Pope always looks good when he plays (I know that he’s injured just now) . Pickford like him or not has 58 caps for England and has played in the Euros final and will be Englands number 1.
He’s a cracking keeper, I hope he goes on to be a club legend and win a number of trebles.
I just can’t understand comments like £20m after getting him on a free because nobody was offering him first team football.
I hope I’m proved wrong in the long run.

Think Butlands distribution is fine, as for flaws yet to see any, good solid keeper who is more than capable of dealing with probs when our defence has a brain fa#t. Whether a bid or not, it's up to the keeper where or when he decides to go, hypothetical or not release clause is irrelevant.

Its easy for players in that league to disappear. Particularly if you are at Man Utd. as back up.
So I don't buy why hasn't anyone else bought him. That happens in football every day!
Example Ross Barkley. Was allowed to go to France, no one wanted him. Luton bring back! he's been brilliant and now being spoken about for the England squad. Why wasnt he bought before a French team? Because sh! t happens that's why.
There is no trigger in his contract. Forrest came in with £5m told they were way off with value and that they were wasting their time.
