Why worrying times? Yes Wednesday was bad, not so much that we lost (they were clearly just better than us, with a bigger budget and okay in a better league), but the manner of the capitulation in the last 20 mins or so. However let’s say we win on Sunday, which of course there is every chance we could (we do still have good players after all) . We end up 2 points ahead of them going into the international break, still in the league cup (which they aren’t) and with the Europa league to look forward to. So why are we so worried? Let’s at least wait until we see how Sunday goes.

I happen to think the manager is a good choice and has done his best given the funds available, none really when you add up outs and ins .
Sunday will be fine their defence is worse than ours and their manager is a gobskitter and an impostor.

Our centre half’s aren’t strong enough regardless of MB spin on his squad. Hopefully our attacking players can find some form in order to win games. We won’t keep many clean sheets this season.

Slating the defence but not lost anyone who played last season, got Souttar back from injury, got Sterling and Balogun for cover and Yilmaz who missed most of last season so I'd still say we are stronger than we were last season. What we have is good enough to win the league and have a strong run in Europa. So much negativity around.

Big risk for me not bringing in another good quality centre half because i feel we are another few injuries away from a crisis in the centre of defence. If that were to happen again its totally unforgiveable. I would say what we've got atm in there isn't good enough in all honesty.

At the time of Beale's appointment there were many that questioned whether this was a positive thing and I have to admit to being one of those that supported his appointment. Unfortunately, I am seeing nothing to suggest that he has what it takes to be a manager of Rangers in the mould of Jock Wallace, Graeme Souness or Walter Smith.
Given the circumstances surrounding Steven Gerrard's appointment I consider it to have been a success despite only one league title given that he inherited a total shambles.
Beale cannot say the same. He worked under Gerrard and must have known what was required to be manager of Rangers. That title is much bigger than being a coach. He has spent big on players, he has brought in free transfers that were considered to be quality players. So far they have not gelled into a winning team that puts other teams, especially Scottish Teams to the sword and despite his comments to the contrary I personally do not believe that he has four top quality centre backs, he admitted himself that he hadn't replaced Kent and I would argue that we still haven't replaced candelas and how many seasons ago was that.
Players recruited under our past DoF have in general been poor, yet many of them still command a first team spot ahead of the players signed by Beale, (some of those players costing us considerable funds) .
We might have a stronger squad but given the poor level of player in our squad, (and at the end of this transfer window some of them will inevitably still be here), we don't have eleven top quality players to fill the starting eleven assuming that they were being played in their favoured position.
Sunday will be significant, win and, rightly or wrongly, Beale will be heralded a hero. lose and his credibility will be doubted.
Let's wait and see!
I expect us to win and win well, but then I am a super optimist.

Beale says we have 4 top class centre backs, what a laugh. We have Goldson who was rushed back after injury, which kind of says it all about the others, we have Souttar who has a horrendous injury record, we have Davies who never seems to be available to play for lots of reasons and we have Balogun who can`t play two games a week and who was brought in as back up to let King go out on loan but now seems part of the plans. To say that we couldn`t get a left centre back signed to back up, or replace, Davies is a joke. If the EPL blew the Trusty one out of the water and Panzo wouldn`t come he should have had other targets. We now have a problem at left back because Yilmaz seems to have the same attitude to Davies towards playing and the Barisic problem was not addressed. Meanwhile we buy or loan 4 strikers, the mans incompetent .

Need a big no nonsense CB nothing fancy just oot my road and he gets his nut on it, De Jong ripped it right out of them there were 7 around him when he scored not one could get near him in the air and he nearly did it earlier. a 33 year old no spring chicken bossed it, whilst the likes of Dessers just smirks his way through 90 mins.

If our manager gets his tactics right then we will win tomorrow, of that I have no doubt. That is where the problem lies, I don't believe that he can transfer his thought process to the football park and he doesn't seem capable of motivating these players to go out and die for the jersey, to chase every ball and intimidate the opposition. We saw the very opposite against Kilmarnock, we looked like we had an inferiority complex against the Dutch, tomorrow every Rangers player going on to that pitch must be 100% motivated to destroy the opposition.

Most Rangers fans wanted Beale whilst we still had Gio in the job. I was never a fan, even under Gerrard, with Beale's tactics (allegedly) we only won ONE trophy and our rivals were in turmoil that year.

It would be interesting to see how Gio got on if he was given the freedom in the transfer market that Beale had.

Dessers and Danilo? Or Colak? I know who i would have.

Time for someone who can get a team that can play to the Scottish league because we have been useless against the low block tactics. even under Gerrard.
