From the looks of it, I do not think Morelos comes back. Fashion and Itten will compete for the forward spot, with some help from JD.

Even if Morelos comes back, he will miss the beginning of the SPFL and probably the UCL first qualification round. Moreover, he could throw out the team balance, as he may be seen by the others as receiving privileged treatment. He is Rangers' most important player, but if he does not put his heart into it, better without him.

On the contrary mate if he sees how well we are doing without him, and we don’t receive a suitable bd, he will come back into the starting 11 hungry to have a belter of a season and finally get his move in January or next summer. And with a front 3 of sakala alfredo and Kent along with our formidable back line outstanding wing backs and top class competition In midfield we would be a serious threat to anyone in the champions league. Not to mention the depth we now have all over the pitch.

I personally think that Morelos needed the extended break. Not only was he on international duty with Colombia but he also had C.V. which from personal experience takes its toll on you your body both physically and mentally. I don't think Morelos needs to worry about anyone taking his no9 position as itten still isn't there and I think personally sakala and Kent will make up the front 3 with Morelos. That will terrify defences the pace of sakala, skill of Kent and the physicality of Morelos I can't wait to see them play as a 3.
For me we don't lose either way. If he goes we make huge profits if he stays we keep best striker in the country.

I’d say Morelos better hit the ground running when he comes back or the haters will be all over him, I love him as a player but I’d be lying if I said all this stuff doesn’t frustrate me, imo he should have taken his extra 2 weeks off as big favour from the club and hopefully he’ll be in reasonably good condition and raring to fire us into the champions league groups!

Bellshill you’re right that front 3 of Kent Alfie and Fashion will terrify defences on their day. And when u have guys like Roofe, Hagi, Aribo, Itten and Wright all waiting in the wings it’s a good strength in depth up top. I’m not worried about Alfie he’s allowed a holiday he’ll be back when he’s back and if a bid comes in that we like then he will go but until then he’s our number one striker when he’s fit and a can’t wait to see the 3 link up.

Re Morelos, its a 14day mandatory holiday from uefa, Fifa or whoever. then rangers gave him a break. so he's back in Glasgow as scheduled etc.
We all know the wee man wants a bigger league etc, and why not! But he will come and produce, as he always does. Gerrard et al manage him perfectly. And its not upset the balance of the team yet!

Completely disagree with this school of thought that morelos/ kent are our most important players, in my opinion our most important player is Allan mcgregor, he is the main reason we. fonished so far ahead last season and this season will very much be the same.

The good thing is now for the first time in a long long time we have a number of important players in the squad. McGregor, Goldson, Tav and Borna, Davis, Kent and Morelos Were all vital to us winning the league and other players like Helander, Kamara, Aribo, Jack and Roofe aren’t too far behind. Things are looking great just now for us as a squad.

The way morelos drags defences everywhere and bullies them gives kent a lot more space to run into and freedom to play. Thts the reason when morelos is not playing we don't usually look ourselves. Morelos compliments kents game as without morelos kent wouldn't have as much space and defenders having morelos in their head 24/ 7, so their would be 2 or 3 on kent instead of morelos, thts the beauty of this rangers team we have players tht need doubled up on too defend against, but when our strongest team are playing opposition doesn't have enough players to double up on all our quality players at once👌💙.

Ryan Kent is possibly our most talented player SGL but not our most important.

Against RM he made some great moves and took the plaudits but was not involved in our goals.

He should have scored but fluffed his lines- I’d say Wright had more influence.

Ryan Kent is the one player that we can't afford to lose and as much as i rate alfredo imo kent has the most influence on our team and the way gerrard wants us to play 👍Kent easily the most talented footballer in scotland 👌.
