Do we still drop into Europa if Servette put us out?
I cannot see us qualifying. Not after Saturday.

I believe we do. The only difference, to my knowledge, between getting eliminated at this stage or after the next round is that we won’t get the €5m parachute payment if Servette serve it up and knock us out.

This servette side are awkward opponents, and if we gift them goals. They’ll put us out.
I’m going to be watching who we start with fear. Danilo needs to start as does Cantwell. If we don’t start Danilo then what was the point in buying him, Danilo had a full pre season, scored goals from open play. Not many of our guys in preseason did that except Lammers. Could end up alienating Danilo who came to play. He could have stayed we’re he was and played CL football.
If we don’t start our best players then we’re just making life harder for our selfs. We’re not good enough yet to be mucking around.
No Lunny either, this is not a game that needs him, we need to play at pace to create space. That’s one thing I do not associate with big John Lunny.

Kingandulster did you see psv the other night? There’s no way we are on a par with them at the moment…. if anything we’re well behind them at this stage. They were on fire against sturm Graz. free flowing attacking football at pace. Although I do believe we will come good ( unlike the panty wetters after one defeat! ) think if we get past servette then the psv game is a few weeks too soon for us as we’re still finding our feet as a new group. Cathro has a great football brain but is extremely socially awkward and most likely on the autism spectrum. I've met him a few times through pro youth and box soccer. Beale can talk for Scotland. People are looking at things to fault him on. Get behind him. i'd hate to have to rely on some on here who think they are part of the greatest supporters in the world yet stick the knife in and constantly moan about the team, players and management. Get a grip people. I grew up were great at first then i watched us languishing behind Aberdeen, dundee utd, celtic and even hearts in 85. At no time did i question the team i supported. When the success came back we lost to hibs the dundee utd at the start of the season. We won the league cup davie cooper scoring that famous free kick, we won the league at pittodrie and had a good showing europe and the rest was history. Two years later we started 9 in a row. Patience is needed changing manager every year keeps us at square one. Souness was 33 when he came in and the guy who took over wasn't much of a player and was only an assistant prior. Wonder how things turned out for him ?????.

This ticket allocation farse needs to stop. Need to ve back to 7-8000 away fans. We only put it in play as we were a shammbles and that lot were pumping us all the time. They days are gone. U want the atmosphere back. Got to showcase the game and the club WILL MAKE MORE MONEY. We can charge briefs at 60 quid a pop x 8000. 480,000 extra per game against them. Nearly 1 mill per seaon. It can be done ut cups so shoukd be same in league!

I can see both sides of the argument totally. Personally i would prefer the atmosphere to be the way it was, just feel like there is something missing now and some of the joy taken away when you score against them too.
What gets me is, we as a club complain we don't get a fair TV deal and that the SPFL are downplaying our great spectacle - namely the old firm match, is worth X amount per game. While at the same making it less of a spectacle ourselves.
Both sets of fans MAKE IT the old firm and the great spectacle it was, not the wee japanese guys vs our mix of nationalities. Now its getting like a game vs Aberdeen, noisy first 15 mins then a bit 'meh'.

Cammy bell there is safety issues with where u put fans from missiles some dangerous, some disgusting, fans jumping down to fight, turnstile problems, access to the stand itself.
Not as simple as giving x amount of seats behind a goal mate.
Certainly the % should match both sets of fans per away game but it’s sometimes easier said than done.
