Cathro wants a challenge, and also wants to be head coach at a team, he hates being second best at Valencia, ally gets 850k a year, cathro gets half of that. football is a funny old game is all i'm saying.

Can everyone just take stock of the current situation and think things through before spouting random views on Cathro. Granted the man may well be respected as an up and coming coach but at present that is all he is. The guy is still learning his trade and doing things the right way. He is not at this stage experienced enough to handle the pressures of managing rangers or the expectations of our fans and the a Scottish media. We need an youth minded coach yes, but they must be experienced. Cathro is one for the future, not now.
