Manager again confirmed there haven't been any offers yet for Raskin. I know some on here have said they've heard otherwise but think you may be being led astray!

If there's no bids for Raskin, why isn't he in the squad? There are other players (10) mentioned on here who were looking to negotiate with other clubs. I asked why they were still being played and was told we needed our strongest squad.
Raskin would come into that category, so why not play him? Unless he's refused? I'm not saying that's the case. Just seems, why would it be a different rule for him.

Just because there hasn't been an offer doesn't mean one isn't imminent and that the club aren't in negotiations.
A lot of these things are dealt with somewhat informally before a player actually leaves.

They might not be putting him in the squad, going off the fact they potentially expect a bid, which I'm guessing, if it's right, they'll accept, so potentially don't want another Chermiti bit/next day injury situation happening. Dunno, just a thought.

There will be bids in. Imagine if McInnes came out and said "aye Villa have bid and they're a couple million short" and then it doesn't go through for whatever reason. Folk will be going after the board so they can't win.
Also, after what happened with Chermiti, I don't blame them. Reading between the lines, the Raskin money may go towards another player coming in last minute (cough/Ferguson/cough).

This is my final theory. There's been no bids, because of the clubs that are interested, Raskin has chosen where he wants to go. A fee has been agreed, and they're just ironing out the structure of that deal.

I will say if Raskin doesn't go. Then we need to get a one year extension so he can be sold next summer for a decent fee, otherwise his value plummets with only a year left on his deal.
