Expecting Penrice to be announced before the Celtic game. Few contract details still to be worked out but the fee has apparently been agreed and he's keen. The Greeks aren't desperate to get rid but he's never settled.

Great news. Think Meghoma has done okay. But he needs to learn his trade at a club that isn't Rangers. that's an instant upgrade. 2 or 3 more like that and we're in a much stronger position.

Penrice would give us options at left back but I'm not sure I would say he's better than Meghoma, that's still to be seen. Could he also be an option as a left winger because his crossing is normally so good. I think he played further forward with Livi.

Think people are setting themselves up for disappointment with Penrice. Only at Hearts 1 season and they sold him, aren't missing him either and now Athens is fine with him leaving when he's started a lot after 6 months and they are top of the league too. If he's that good why are we the only ones after him?
I think the more pressing matter is RB, Aarons isn't good enough and unfortunately Tav has went 1 season too long and fell off the cliff known as age. Meghoma is doing fine and I don't know if there's any youth LBs good
Enough but I'd call one of them up as backup til Cornelis is back (if it was season ending he'd of been sent back).

Our U19 left back is a young kid who is 15 or 16, we won't be calling up as back up. We need cover whether it is Penrice or somebody else.
