We are not the team of my youth 80's 90's era. We don't have access to these types of players anymore and I think we need to pull our necks in and realise we need to give support ALWAYS. It's our fanbase that's making Ibrox a hard place to work. Remember these YOUNG men are at work. How would u react a booing your efforts

I agree about fans being difficult. Players are rubbish, scared to try anything. I bet the fans who booed Dessers on would take him back in a heartbeat now.

I don't agree with this fan narrative stuff at all. Blame the board, recruitment, managers and players as those are the actual people who influence our outcomes the most.
Our fans are superb in how, despite failure after failure, we turn up in huge numbers week in week out.
The fans are frustrated, and understandably so, but rain, hail or shine, we follow.
The team needs to give more for the fans to get behind, if they want better support than they get right now.
I get a few players have been on the end of fan frustration, like CD9, but the fans on the whole get behind the team when they deserve it, imo.

Yes we follow, Tommy, but try supporting our club and players, booing certainly doesn't help the cause, that at supporters in general, not you, mate.

Hately07 I remember being at Ibrox in the latter days of the John Greig era with 9000 +yes 9000 fans in attendance, Dundee and Hibs were 2 of the most toxic atmospheres ever - these overpaid Mollies have no idea about toxicity, serving up that dross on the pitch like last Thursday they deserve to be booed and half of Thursday nights team should never be near a Rangers jersey and if they don't like it they can F R OFF

I get what you're saying, guys. I agree it can be toxic at times, but is that really why we have been rubbish? I don't think so.
I think the fans have played their part in managers being shown the door. But which manager actually deserved to keep their job, though? I think Gio and PC are only 2 hard done by, but Gio did not look like he would ever win a league, and PC had some terrible results.
Even then, it's not the fans who make decisions. Look across the city, their fans are even more toxic than ours and their board ignore them and make decisions that create stability.
It's not the fans who have signed off on rebuilding our playing squad in a different image every season without fail. It's people who have authority and responsibility at the club who do that.
I totally understand fan frustration and actually think it's been quite reserved considering the levels of incompetence we have seen from managers, players, recruitment and board.
If the other lot were going through what we are right now, there would be riots outside the ground on a weekly basis.

Young men at work? How'd we react? If u had offered me thousands a week, I'd have said shout what u like. And I'd also be more determined than ever to be better for those travelling hundreds of miles that pay to watch me. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't get involved with a sport that has thousands of folk shouting at every ground in the world from juniors to the elite level.
Is it all nice? No. Is it hard at times? Aye, but get on with it. You're amongst the luckiest people in the world to be in the "Job" of your dreams. And if u prove u can handle it, and have the character to make it at this low level, the riches and rewards possible beyond it are even far greater. World's gone saft. 🙄

Woke nonsense. If they can't handle a bit of booing, they shouldn't be pulling on the jersey. Football is an emotional sport. A big part of the problem is players are being signed that clearly don't have the experience and character to handle playing for a big club with demanding fans.
Most are young project players who, in the past, would be playing in the reserves and dribbled into the first team if and when ready. We are throwing them straight in as the main men.

Just to add, I am not talking about myself here.
I have never booed a Rangers player, team or manager in my life. I am that weird guy who claps them off no matter what because they are my team.
But I understand why fans have done this, I just don't agree that responsibility for our failures lies at their doorstep.
