Absolutely gutted for big Chermiti first and foremost for him.
It was the outcome I was expecting, but really hoped it wasn't.
When I saw it back, there are many of those types of comings together with impact on the knee, which lead to ACL injuries.
You could just tell by his reaction it wasn't good. I think he knew.
Wishing him a speedy recovery. And hopefully he comes back a better version of himself.

Looking at big Chermiti on Sunday, when I saw his studs in the grass and the blow to his knee, I did think the worst. Fingers crossed it's not a complete tear of the ACL needing surgery and only partially torn, which could maybe take up to 2 months of rest and rehab. Obviously, our manager may let us know more tomorrow.

The big fella doesn't tend to stay down. It looked bad at the time. Hope he makes a full recovery, promising young player. 😔
