Ed what's your thoughts on slot being sacked.
{Ed078's Note - Ed001 is more knowledgeable, but here's my 2 bobs worth. The title last year was on the back of Klopp's foundations and the usual suspects not being very good. The last 10 games of the season became hard to watch. The style, tempo and aggression was off. Now, players leaving, new purchases not hitting the ground running, bar Ekitike, the horrific loss of Jota, have all played their part, of course. But, the football was mush. The fans are loyal, but we expect a certain standard, a fight, an attacking style. Slot didn't deliver that. I don't know anything about the internals, but those more ITK have spoken of disharmony, some players made it more public than others.
So, all that said, I couldn't see a way he could stay.

That's a fair response to be fair Ed. I've watched Liverpool twice in the flesh this season. We lost 2-0 in London and I was thinking this Liverpool is miles off what it was. I think it was end of Feb or early March we went to Liverpool and lost 5-2 and at that stage I knew WH were gone but despite the score I thought we were the better team on the day, there was just no tempo or drive to Liverpools play "consistently" it was spurts of energy here and there and a lot of pointless passing.
Liverpool will be much better next year if the new Manager puts them on the front foot with some real intent
