I think the play off system in Scotland is utter mince. Partick have played well all season. St Mirren have been pretty poor. And yet a one off tie of two legs saves St Mirren. The bottom two should be relegated, and wither too two of Championship should be promoted, or positions 2 and 3 players a one off game, or positions 2, 3, 4 and 5 play semi finale and then a final.
It's garbage and I feel for Partick.

We need a new structure, 20 team or 18 perhaps, play each other twice a season, it gets boring. Top 3 go up, bottom 3 go down.

I agree, and think most want 18 team league, 3 up 3 down, but our football stagnating because they all want to keep themselves in position, be it league teams or bigwigs.

It's all rigged to save premier team, but that's SPL for you. It should at least be 2nd bottom plays 4th in Championship, 2nd plays 3rd, then one of game for final.

100% agree, it's a farce, but it's not just Scotland. Might be old fashioned, but it would be nice to go bk to 2-3 up & down, no playoffs at all. As like folk say, if you're there at end of a season you deserve it either way. Same with the so called Champions League, that these days features less champions & more runner ups.
Every league winner should automatically be in if they have won their league over a season, it's very harsh teams can do that then get knocked out of qualifying by teams who didn't (granted bigger teams depending on league).
