Just a pity Danny did not think Curtis was good enough to play for Rangers second half of the season?

Signed Olsen and Curtis. Game time would be about zero. Wise move loaning him out. He wasn't playing for Kilmarnock, he wouldn't be in the Scotland World Cup squad. Great achievement for a 19-year-old. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, Rab.

In all honesty, would you rather have had Curtis or Skov Olsen, given the option before knowing how things would have panned out? Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I know who I would have picked.
And, had he stayed at Rangers, he wouldn't have played anywhere near as many games, so most likely wouldn't have got picked for the World Cup squad.

imo we made the correct decision sending Curtis on loan. The player will know if he had not gone on loan he would not be headed to a World Cup.

It's key what we do next re him.

I wouldn't be loaning him out again, John.

Agree, John. Example of how loan system works to Rangers' benefit. Couldn't foresee Olsen not turning up imo.

Who thought Curtis would be a better option than Skov Olsen during the January window? Nobody.

The mistake was not trusting Curtis from the very start. He began the season with 3 very good goals. Then in comes Mikey Moore to compete for his position. Russell Martin told us that signing Moore would not limit the game time of Curtis.

But I seen Moore playing while Curtis sat on the bench week after week. So of course Curtis needs to go out on loan for game time.

If we brought back Moore, I fear we would repeat this exact same mistake next season. I would rather go with Curtis off the left than have Moore back.

Past reputation was probably why we signed Olsen. The man never showed any positivity, in my opinion, and as such he was always going to fail. Our fans love to see a player running at the opposition from his position.
