David Watson at Killie has had a good breakthrough season and is someone we should be looking at imo. Only 18 I’d be looking to buy him now and loan him back til the end of the season. Unfortunately, I don’t think our budget will allow us to do things like that as it needs to be spent elsewhere.

Honestly fellow bears in january i just can't see us forking out the transfer fees that both hearts and aberdeen would be looking for for shankland or miovski ? I think any striker clement brings in on january will be a loan signing, as clubs don't let their best players leave in january and you just don't usually get the best you probably want, available to you in january ?
I think any signings for any positions we make in january will be loan signings and our main business will be done at the end of the season.

You must be joking with Cochrane, he can`t defend to save his life. We single him out as the weak link every time we play them. Sibbick too isn`t even at the standard of the 4 centre backs we currently have. I could see the benefit of the likes of Shankland, Campbell Barron and Miller who are half decent and bolster our Scottish quota but there is no point in signing average foreigners or Englishmen who are not even as good as what we have already .

John227, don`t we need 8 Scots in our Europe pool or we lose places from the registered 25. So this season we have had 17 " foreigners" plus, McCrorie, Souttar, Jack and S. Wright which means our first team pool is only 21 plus youngsters. With McCrorie likely to want to leave, Jack always injured and out of contract at the end of the season and Wrights future a bit uncertain, we are seriously short of Scottish first team players who can be registered for European matches. that's what I meant by increasing our Scottish quota, we really need they eights places filled as long as those coming in are good enough and that is a major problem given the standard of the Scottish players we could afford .

U can have maximum of four from other Scottish clubs and then four from rangers academy

However all 8 can come from rangers academy if they meet the criteria
