Reading between the lines he’s annoyed at the effort being out in by Morelos all round! I watched the clips of Morelos scoring goals in Europe against dortmund. I predict if he leaves rangers it’ll be a long time before he’s scoring goals in Europe again! Kent and Jack at least look fit and interested.

i didn't read that at all in MB statement. he may be resolved to the fact that Morelos more and likely will leave but he said he hasn't heard anything about signing a precontract. he confirmed what we all know in that Morelos is free to discuss with anyone about a contract. i am not saying he is staying or going just the way i read MB statement.

I am a Morelos fan, when he's bang at it. Overall he's given us some great days and been good value for the money we spent on him.

His time is over now, even if he did want to stay at us, would you offer him the money he's after? Absolutely not. He's let himself down in terms of his fitness for a while now. I get he had a lengthy injury towards the end of last season but we are now well into March and he's still overweight and unable to play 90 minutes.

We'll get over him quickly.

Same goes for Roofe for me, great striker but he's injured far too often and isn't worth the money we are paying him. we are going to be stuck with him until his contract is up as nobody will sign him but we need to effectively replace him even if he is still on the books.

Only having Roofe and Morelos last year led to Morelos being overplayed and getting injured. We need 3 fit strikers who offer different options who can push each other for a starting place. Colak will be one but i feel we need 2 of better quality than at leading the line as a lone striker.

I'm a Morelos fan too but, like you, I think we will all get over him quickly. You can only have a balanced team when the players you do have are reliable, train well, look after themselves and work. I'm interested to find-out what Beale does about Tillman though. When he first arrived, the transfer fee was reported to be around £1.5., but the last I heard it was £6m, which puts in more in the balance.
