If the Record is correct and Millwall are close to an agreement to buy Kevin Nisbet from Hibs for just over £1m, we should be getting involved in that. At that fee, he is a complete no-brainer, irrespective of where his boyhood leanings were.

I might be on my own here and firstly I’d like to say I like Nisbet but at the moment I don’t think he’s the type of forward that we need.
We have a natural goal scorer in Colak, But my point is it is more pressing that we are looking for a replacement for Morelos in the near future.
So someone like a Ross Stewart or someone similar that ticks more boxes as a Rangers forward.
Someone who links play up is physical, with pace that scores goals.
Yes not easy to find and will cost more than the Nisbets of this world.
But if we want a striker for domestic and European football then we are going to have to aim a bit higher.

I'd take Nisbet for 1m in a heartbeat very good backup striker and covers 1 of the numbers for homegrown player.

Nisbet would be very good in our league against average defences and probably score 20+ goals a season for us, but in Europe against very good defences he is not good enough I'd still take him for 1m, he will never be Rangers main cf if fans are desperate for him to be our main man then that is us going back the way.

Agree can’t see him being a lone striker for us against good European opposition or Celtic, not his natural game, no doubt would do a job against majority of teams.
Probably same reason why they aren’t going for him either, if they do it would be as a sub in big games as well.
