Stig I sent a post last night to help u sleep or not.

The three names I have are
Vanoli
Wilder
Phil Neville

I'm not impressed

Walter u say you make assumption I think Gio will stay, I don't. I really don't have a clue.

What I do know these three do nothing for me, None off the Scottish names as the manager do nothing

Majority English names do nothing.

I feel that we will have a manager who will struggle and they will be headed to ten before we get our act together.

No chance it’s Vanoli he’s taking a job in the Serie B of a team recently relegated from Serie A.

I 100% agree with you John don’t know anything about vanoli but Neville’s is a joke and wilder ain’t up to much.

Some of the names of manager's we're linked with is worrying, I'm fully expecting Gio gone today, the board have very little option.

Agreed John those names don’t impress me at all, an SOS is needed for Dave King to return before anymore damage is done.

Well John, you did warn us that we wouldn't be impressed with the 3 names and you were right. I understand people calling for Gio being sacked or walking but what happens then? More turmoil. I really don't know what to think at the moment but these players need to get a grip, show some pride. They should be able to sort it out themselves on the pitch when it's not going right. Unfortunately I can't see a leader at the moment. Sad days indeed my man.

Hi john

Thanks mate - yeah I caught your post late on last night
Phil Neville caught me by surprise wonder if that could actually happen and who he would bring in

I think out the 3 wilder would be my choice

Although Neville possibly make us hard to beat not sure how he would fair in Europe though

but looking over it all and thinking about it more I think from what other posters have also said Gio will stay as I don’t think we would want to spend the rumoured amount of money on getting rid of him as it seems very steep

So by looks of it just now he will stay and we limp on to possibly January and see where we are at unfortunately

I personally think GIo has been let down by board and players but also don’t feel he is right for this job it requires a stronger character and his tactics and team shuffles have been erratic at best even with our current injuries

I feel there has been some fallen out behind the scenes the playing squad don’t look to be in harmony with each other and the management

So I feel there is a whole host of issues and possibly just relieving Gio won’t fix it all.

Unbelievable where we have been and went through to get this point and there doesn’t seem to be any clear indication on direction the club is going at the moment and the board from what we read are also not all in harmony either can only spell bad times ahead and someone needs to take the lead and sort all things out from top to bottom
Who that is going to be and how long that is going g to take are the big questions .

But it doesn’t look an easy take and the longer it carries in can only harm the club more in the short and long term

let’s hope during World Cup something gives and we can get a clear path where all at the club and push forward on the one path together and get through this very tough period in time.

We will just have to keep going with it supporting and hoping it all sorts itself out very soon

?.

If you think king is going to come back and save the day your off your head pure fantasy.

My worry is would you trust this board along with Wilson get it right on a new manager their track record isn’t great.

No way would I have Phil Neville I actually cringe at the thought of that. Did you not say we’d be looking for a marquee manager somewhere in one of these posts John? In regards to Wilder let’s remember he took a bang average Sheffield side to 8th (ish) in the premier league so I think we could do worse. If you watch the interview with Paddy the baddy and Lundstram he says that Wilders demand on winning was ridiculous so he may not be the worst. However I do find it underwhelming. Bielsa, Rafa or Knutsen would be my dream 3. The league in Norway finishes in 2 weeks I believe so would be a great time to take Knutsen unless Bournemouth snatch him first. Bielsa we may not be able to afford but my god he’d have us playing great football and even Pep said he’s a tactical genius so would blow Ange out the water. Can see the rangers da’s getting annoyed that he doesn’t speak English in his interviews though.

100% not the names I was given a good while back. The names I heard were Scott Parker, who apparently was approached and made OTT demands so talked his way out of a job, Sean Dyche and Gary McAllister.

None of them excite me to be honest.

Wilder would be a decent appointment to be fair. Like another said, Lundstrum mentioned his desire to fight and win everything, he set up his Sheffield Utd team smart and quick, similar to Ange.

There u go folk say can’t be Vanoli as he going to Venezia, that’s great news for us imo

I said it was a list of potential managers

Walter I’m not sure, nothing makes me think re any names oh I’d like him.

Dd Neville fits our model, based on last two managers.

G4rry is that Dave king desperate to sell all shares, limited days he can leave SA openly admitted he was supporting Liverpool at Anfied, is hamstrung by financial rules in SA

Do the bouncy we spoke to many people, to sound them out, many were then excluded for a variety off reasons.
