Statistically the most successful formation so far at the Euro's has been the 4-3-3 with 3 teams in the Semi-Finals playing this way.
The exception was England who deploy a 4-2-3-1 with the 3 in front of the 2 holding midfielders expected to break and support Kane.
Not surprisingly the least successful formation at the Euro's has been the outdated 2 up top with North Macedonia, Scotland and Poland ( the worst teams at the group stages ) deploying a variation of either 5-3-2 or 3-5-2.
It's also been a joy to watch teams like Italy, Spain and Denmark.
Surprisingly Sweden used the very dated 4-4-2 to successfully navigate the group stages before succumbing to another exponent of the 2 up top in the last 16 ( Ukraine 3-5-2 ) .

4-4-2 is outdated, mostly now used in kids football and by dinosaurs like big sam. Leave you too short in midfield as most teams play 3 in there. Need 2 very disciplined and extremely fit players to play a midfield 2 v a 3.

Rangers never beat Celtic playing 4-4-2, 5-3-2 or 3-5-2.
They beat them by a tactical masterstroke by Gerrard by tweaking the favoured 4-3-3 which won us the league.
Oh and without the 'dig' of Arfield and with Aribo playing with apparently would have hindered us and yet we had our easiest win of the season against Celtic.
And there is no correlation between celebrating any Rangers win and formation used.

You said Kent was a waste of money and we over paid. You then said that you love to see kent tearing them apart again.
