Alright guys,

First time posting on the site.
Been told of someone who is close to agents who work with the club.
That the interest in alzate is real, that the club are talking to him but he has interest from a lot of clubs, but seems to be best pals with raskin so the club hope that can sway it.
He's a top player and I think would be a big signing if we can get it done.

Seen a Belgian journo say the interest in Dennis and Alzate isn't true as Alzate isn't the profile the club are looking for in this window and Dennis was just a non-starter.

He sounds an interesting player, and I can see why the club might be looking ahead with Jack and lundstram coming out of contract in summer, and Cifu not setting the heather alight yet. Personally, I'd want to keep lundstram but think Jack might be a tough call given his injury record, but if Jack goes we really need to bring in more home grown (which at least the current setup seem to realise) .

The Belgian journo said that we weren’t interested in buying him this month as Brighton want to get some cash for him. Doesn’t mean we aren’t trying to sign him on a pre contract. Which is what I’ve been told.
Just got to wait and see I suppose.

Paul the journo said we don’t have an interest in signing him in January, ie pay money for him, it doesn’t mean we aren’t trying to get the guy on a pre contract. It would be very on brand of rangers to do it the cheap way.

Funny what people call a top player these days ?? good player maybe but not top player hate that our team has become about other teams cast offs or fringe players that are not good enough for them.

We should be scouting the more affordable leagues for guys that might be able to step up a level not guys on spiral down.

He’s been a stand out for standard liege and has been capped for Colombia I don’t see how that translates to him spiralling down. It’s no shame not making the cut at Brighton. I do get we have signed far to many players who are bang out of form and I don’t agree with that method, however I don’t think this particular player fits into that group.

Wish ear he recently got capped in double header yes but hadn’t been chapped for two years before that and has bounced about a few differnt teams on loan not finding a perm move screams to me Brighton just want him of wage bill.

He doesn’t exactly have best pedigree
