To beale56 and storm in particular the reason I chose not to comment on Gray was because I felt it would come across as a dig at 56

As I wrote we met three players, my info was Beale met gray on Friday to persuade him to sign for rangers. Beale 100% wanted Gray

Mi information was another meeting b4 Friday was Palma in London, this deal is not dead. It may or may not happen

Storm I did not want to answer your question, what name I had at that stage, hope u understand

Also Ona footnote absolutely no interest from Man Utd for our goalie.

Great info John.

Do you know who the third player was? Understandable if you can’t say.

Good info as always John, I assume that Gray is off to the land of sand now? Does that leave just Palma as a possible wide player option. Also what do you make of Hagi's situation? Was beale flexing his authority after what Hagi said in his press conference?

That's cool John i knew he meet him on Friday and he wanted him, you hearing about any other wide players mate?

Imo we should push the boat out for both Gray and Palma if possible. We are in desperate need of fast wide players. Jury out on Sima and Matondo has only had a good 25mins against a very tired Livingston side.

Get through the PSV tie and good things will happen, tight though time wise . Any updates on Kamara? he's swingin the lead now is he no?

Chas I idont have a name however it is a ch

Cmac we would have sold hagi last year if he had been fit, imo the situation allowed Beale to flex his authority, hagi is very unlikely to ne a regular starter.

Re palma I think he will be our key throw of dice now, especially with roofe not getting in front of matondo.

Has anyone seen Palma play that's doesn't include short clips, I'm not sure if he's really the signing that takes us to the next level, if he does get signed full support though.

I think beale is of the thinking now like a lot more of our supporters now, that matondo may be settling down and become that winger we thought he would be when we signed him? There's definitely encouraging signs of late regarding matondo ?There looks a player there ?.

No probs John cheers for the info as always.

Beale when I asked that question to John it wasn’t because I didn’t believe you mate ?.

Respect mate.

Regarding palma, he doesn't look like a dribbler, he's a crosser passer type, i don't know if he would bring much of a change to the squad, he's good on set plays amd freekicks, watching his teams extended highlights after we have been linked to him, they lost a goal off of him being out muscled in their half which didn't fill me full of confidence but he was spraying the ball about well and picking up wee spaces going forward. His team also seem to just shoot on site.

Storm all cool mate, i actually felt John knew who i was taking about.

If after 11 signings we think that Matondo may be the answer, the question must be, Which player sums up best the poor recruitment at Ibrox over the last 3 windows.

Copland can you tell me a player that has never lost a ball by being out muscled at one point?

As if Cantwell, Raskin, Butland and Cifuentas haven't already shown to be very good signings.

Coplandbears just telling us what he seen in the highlights off him Storm, again no need for the condescending reply.

wslgers Agreed but the manager has to takes risks given the lack of funding he has been given and anything else now depends on sale of players . As far as Matondo is concerned they are now attempting to make out he's a winner and he certainly ain't a club didn't lose a fortune on him because he was good, same with Roofe at his previous club they were in a panic to get shot of him for some reason, Davies a similar deal, all guesswork hoping it works out somehow.

we can't rely on matondo coming good and need to go get some1 who has the goods needed if matondo does turn it around great but I'm not convinced.

He played well when he came on tonight. Perhaps the lad needs a chance. If we are spending money before the window closes I would personally prefer us to bring in a quality centre back so we can try going three at the back. We simply cannot rely on Tav and Barasic defensively.
We might also need to consider a back up defensive midfield player.

Berkshire blue I also feel Matondo has shown enough in his last few outings to merit been given the chance as our left sided attacker to not go out and spend numerous millions on a new one in fact we may have saved a fortune by gray knocking us back. I’d go forward with him now.
So if u out the money for cooper together with the money for gray (£5m) should we and could we not offer the whole sum together for Souttar in the hope we get him for say £8m?
It’s a good offer for a player Leicester are happy to loan out. It’s not to be sniffed at. What do u think mate?
