Reports from Germany at end of last week that Bayern have moved the goalpost regarding the agreed fee with Rangers for Malik Tillman after other interest from Brighton and Bournemouth.
Now today it's been mooted that Bayern have reached a compromise that will see Tillman loaned to Rangers for an additional 12 months.
No news of agreed future fee or if that exists as part of the agreement.

Thestigno, my guess would be that the time which was previously agreed that we could trigger the contract to buy him has lapsed, so a new agreement can now be negotiated. But that is obviously just a guess as I have no inside info.

It was reported that there was a fixed fee if a permanent transfer was agreed before the end of June. Personally, I wouldn't take him back.

Got to be said, regardless of whether an agreement is in place regarding a transfer fee, if the player doesn't want to move then the transfer won't happen. Seems straight forward to say it, but Tillman doesn't seem to want to continue his career in Scotland. That being the case, we move on without him.

Maybe the fee was agreed but we tried to negotiate it down or wanted to pay in instalments which might be the problem here.
Big fee is a bit of a gamble and another loan for other year might be best for all parties as long as there is a definitive future fee agreed.

There is a ceiling of player quality that we and Celtic can get, if they want a 15m player they need to pay that player 15m player wages…don’t worry about how much they have to spend, where are they going to improve? Goalkeeper maybe but hart on big money, full backs? Squad depth is only glaring issue they maybe have. They’ll also have folk after their players this summer so they might have hit or miss signings also.

You were very confident he was signing and have now changed yer tune a bit even saying you would have him on loan again now ?‍♂️. I liked him but he isn’t as good as some made out cantwell far better that him.

Tillman is a very talented player he could easily go on and play with anybody storm, you think 5m is to much for him that is a snip for a player with his ability, would love him back on loan but as been claimed on here if he doesn't want to come far enough but i will only listen to him or our club, storm i have played with many talented lads and he is right up there.
