Only passing and sharing info i've heard this afternoon from a long-term hibs shareholder and season ticket holder and he says he's been told by his pal who plays golf with jackie mcnamara senior that hibs want to sign scotty arfield and have made their interest known to scotty and his reps ? I was hoping arfield wouldn't sign for anyone else in this league to possibly come back and haunt us ? I've got a helluva lot of time and respect for scotty arfield ?.

I thought the likes of Hibs, Hearts and the sheep would be in for him. Maybe he’ll get all sentimental and go back to Falkirk?

John27,i've got a mate who knows arfield quite well and his info to me is scotty will/ is prepared to sit down and speak to all interested parties and won't just jump to the first club that registers an interest. He tells me he's not heard anything from the family but thinks himself that arfield will sign for hearts ?.

Sir Walter said a few days ago Iv heard hearts too rather them than anyone else in the league to be fair Falkirk was also a coach/ player option. Decent source too.

I could see Arfield going somewhere he could get coaching experience as well as playing time. Could see him heading back to Falkirk as part of management team.

142 games, 52 goals. Not sure he's what we need but can't go purely off stats as he looked decent in the World cup. One I'm unsure on. May flourish in our squad but as I said I'm not sold but not totally against it.
